We look on Google and find LaQuinta with great reviews so we reserve a room. When we arrive we’re impressed with the lobby, (that is supposed to convey their pride in their hotel right?) and then we proceed to the room. Upon entering the little hallway to go to the elevator we see dirt and grime on the outside of the elevator and the interior. Do they even have a cleaning staff? So we get to the room. Have you ever been unimpressed by something but you feel like you have to pretend for the sake of someone else? That was me. I didn’t say anything, not only to not disappoint him, but also because while the hotel is not very clean, the king size bed in our room was clean and comfy! I just think lamps in the room that could have been acquired next to a dumpster, webs hanging from an end table, and strange looking substances on the walls are not conducive to a truly pleasant stay at a hotel. However, the two desk clerks were very kind and helpful!

The room was, for the most part, clean. The bathroom was also clean. However, the carpet was filthy. Looked like it had never been cleaned. It was awful. The room also need a major refresh.

The location was perfect for our visit to Redding for the Redding Handbell Festival. Plenty of food choices, and the complementary breakfast was quite nice.

We travel to Redding once or twice a month. This is our 3rd time.. I’m not one to complain but unfortunately our last stay has came to this. No hot water, they were out of washcloths, I asked 4 times in a two day span for shower towels. Was told the final day they were washing and none available only to walk down the hall and see a maid with some. An elderly couple a few doors down couldn’t shower either because of no hot water. Our last visit was the same no hot water and the bath tub wouldn’t drain. If this was just a one time thing I wouldn’t give such a bad review but the same issue has happened prior times.

The carpet was horrendous in our room. The beds were very hard and very small.

Good breakfast including eggs and bacon. Room s good size but furniture could use updating.

Unable to connect to the internet using my Oculus 2. Auto connect is only for iPhones

This is an older property . The clerk had to change my room because the first one smelled like cigarette smoke . I noticed the first room also had tattered curtains. I was satisfied with my second room because it was spacious and comfortable. I noticed new tile in the entry way and bathroom . It looks like the hotel is renovating. The breakfast was good. I like waffles and yogurt. I only stayed one night but I will return next year

On the plus side, the location of the hotel was convenient and the bed was comfortable. The elevator was rickety, dirty and greatly in need of refurbishment. The bathroom was functional but very old. This property seriously needs remodeling.

Overall run down hotel not in the best location - room looked dingy and overall the hotel needs some updating

The door had looked like it had previously been kicked in. The lock was broken. Very run down.

Asked for ADA room ahead of time, and didn’t get one. No wheelchair access to the bathroom. Dirty walls and door, Kleenex empty, enough towels for 1 and we had 3, ripped wallpaper, one light not working, not enough outlets for CPAP and electronics. The bed was comfortable.

The carpet in my room was very dirty. The coffee supplies were not refreshed. No staff to deliver them to you in the room. Will avoid staying in this property again.

the pool is amazing

Check in was efficient andqquick but the bathroom in our suite wasn’t very clean,and short of towels. Breakfast was alright ,we felt that sausage patties were not cook enough and bacon was loaded with bacon grease.

Carpets looked dirty/stained. Kind of noisy with kids running around after 9 PM. No plugs or outlets above table level. Everyone was low and behind furniture. The hardcover to the window was stained.

The room was pretty dingy and beat up, though clean.

The lobby was nice thry remodeled but the rooms are lacking. The conditioner and shampoo was empty in the shower. Trying to turn the shower on was very hard. Won't pull out. Very hard to regulate hot abd cold water. The shower curtain was to small. You pull one direction in comes off the other side. This is the best the bathroom door wouldnt open unless you kicked it or pushed sideways. My daughter got stuck in the bathroom. Blow dryer was in the closet because it was not attached to the plate on the wall. Not enough outkets to plug everything in. I feel like we have been getting really bad rooms because i book with hotels.com kinda weird.

Very nice lobby/ front desk area. Room was clean and cooled down. Elevator to second floor was very, very small. Probably because older elevator. Overall nice clean place to stay.

Traveling with a pet la Quinta is always my first choice. This hotel was great. Nice overview of the pool. Bed was very comfortable.

Comfortable room, nice patio and pool. Toilet not very clean and outside door locks not operable, so have to use rickety elevator. My wife always uses stairs due to claustrophobia so this was a problem. Breakfast was very good, however there was no tea available. Looks like renovations are in progress.

The property was fine how ever the room s cleanliness was piss poor coffee splatters on the wall/ or what appears to be Hairy sheets dirty mirrors

Stayed at the property for 4 nights on the 2nd floor. It is a beautiful property that needs updating. Sheets are clean. Hot water pressure was great. Pool was clean and looked inviting, but did not get a chance to try. Breakfast was standard. As usual, you will have to compete with others for your share! Don't mean to complain but just want to comment: It is a non-smoking property, but every morning I can smell dope lingering in the hall for hours. I also noticed that the dirt on the hall carpet were not vacuumed for 3 days.

It was very noisy. I was near a staff supply room and people were coming and going from there very early in the morning while Slamming and banging doors.
