This place is going through construction right now that is my only complaint but it's all for the better of the hotel so can't really complain about that either well worth the money

Very clean, updated location, with close access to the waterfront and local restaurants. Great value. Our new go to location when visiting Morro Bay

We enjoyed this hotel. It was a short walk to the water and restaurants. The hotel appeared to have been recently renovated.

For the price i paid i expected a lot more. They didnt have free water, or a cup to drink out of. The walls are paper thin. I was kept up all night on my first night there by the people above me who sounded like they were moving their entire belongings into the room. The front desk staff were friendly but id never stay there again. Im not sure what makes this different to a motel, id have rather paid motel prices than stay here again.

Balcony over parking lot uninviting. Rusty air conditioner and holes in screen door. No microwave in room. Two skimpy towels were threadbare. Walk-in shower has curtain that allows water to collect on bathroom floor. Self slamming doors on other rooms were loud enough to wake us up. Elevator starts with a noisy clunk and sudden drop. Ugly board-up of old central atrium. Maintenence sorely needed overall.

The hotel in general was ok, the staff was super friendly, the garage big, the location was fantastic and close to the harbor and the rooms ok. Overall it was clean but if you look closer it wasn't. Also we had one new comfortable mattress and one super old super uncomfortable mattress which was unfortunate considering the price of 365$/night.

Great hotel with an easy walk to just about every part of Morro Bay.

Hotel Avisa is located with-in easy walking distance of the embarcadero, where there are great shops and restaurants. Check-in was quick and the young man was friendly. The room was super clean. The water pressure was wonderful and the water gets hot fast! The biggest complaint is that you can hear the people upstairs walking around, even with the fan of the air conditioner going. The partial ocean view was indeed partial. If we stay there again I would upgrade to the king bed with a balcony you can sit out on that is on the third floor.

Broken tile in bathroom, piece of wall missing in bathroom, Pictures frames were on the floor when we first arrived in our room, White blankets had yellow stains, internet wasn’t good, and so wasn’t the cable.

Our room had broken blinds, the refrigerator was outdated, no coffee on the lobby. They do give you Keurig pods for the room though. I was very very excited for our stay, until we were give our room which had a view of the parking lot. Very disappointed as we had driven many hours and were sold on the room balcony view of Morro Rock.
