The location and amenities

The checkin staff was not over friendly and the shuttle wasn’t available so we were offered s breakfast voucher for one person in a party of two. Then the voucher was expired. There was no information on how the fridge worked so our food spoiled because the compressor wouldn’t stay on. Them housekeeping never knocks they just walk in!!! Not ok at all

The room was modern but very small.

The front desk check in staff member was indifferent and not accommodating. When customers check-in or need assistance try to be helpful! Third party transportation service was just out to make a buck. Uber is still better. Breakfast was a la carte. There are better options.

Loved the location, room and breakfast. Great view, little bit of noise from the surroundings, but wasn't that big of a deal.

Service staff were not knowledgeable. Didn't know where we could order food from (our network wasn't working so couldn't search on our own and wifi wasn't working with our login information).

We were whipped after flying; took 30 minutes to get two drinks in the hotel bar. I mentioned this in my review and management replied and indicated they would do something about the situation.

Rude staff who know nothing about hospitality. The hotel assigned a completely different price and category for our booking details other than our choices and blamed it on Bookings.com. When we approached them they were totally rude. We booked the room with breakfast included ,which was clearly confirmed with booking ,yet the hotel staff denied and in a rude way . The parking charges were 300% the price on booking!! The front desk man responding to a phone call for a booking requested answered the caller "I have no rooms where shall I put her? in someone's closet!!!' Don't recommend it ,very bad experience.

Did not buy a breakfast. After spending over 350 a night breakfast should be included

Fun, quirky decor.

There is a lot to love about the Brand New Aloft Fort Lauderdale by Marriott. The New hotel was super Clean and had a friendly staff. The Aloft lobby Bar was great and has happy hour 4-7. Lobby bar has games to play and sports on TV. There was an amazing Roof Top Pool with great views of the city and Airport and ocean views. I enjoyed the food fish tacos and wings were great. Breakfast was super too. Overly impress with the Aloft Fort Lauderdale and there is an airport shuttle van. Hotel does have valet parking for a fee and is like the closest hotel to the Fort Lauderdale Cruise port and airpot. Huge fitness center. My wife loved the lobby and pool table. We will definitely recommend and stay again at the Fort Lauderdale Aloft. See you soon!

It was clean and new.

Stuffy check in staff. You need your room key to work the elevators, but they don’t tell you that when they ask you how many room keys you need.
