This was first stay here. There were a few things I found inconvenient: 1) The only ice machine was on the main floor and my room was on the third floor. 2) I had the option to make coffee in my room but not tea. I can't tolerate coffee but enjoy a cup of hot tea in the evening. 3) The hot drink station in the breakfast area was shut off except for breakfast time so I could not even get a cup of tea there. 4) I was there 2 nights and nobody checked my room after the first night and I had to ask the front desk for toilet paper and conditioner. I did not receive fresh towels for the second night. I have stayed at another hotel in the area and they had an ice machine one every floor, a hot drink station in the lobby all day, as well as the ability to make tea in the room, and they check the room daily. Being a hotel by Marriott I expected at least the same amenities.

This hotel was dirty. The hallways and elevator need a deep cleaning. The rooms needed updating. The beds were super comfy. The breakfast downstairs not cared for or cleaned well. Overall probaly a 4 out of 10.

When first entering our room, we were hit with a very strong mildew smell. The smell only got stronger each time we left the room and came back. There was mold near the ceiling in the bathroom and a large dark stain on the mattress that was visible through the sheets. Disappointed with the cleaniness of the room with having 3 littles with us.

Perfect location to walk about in Frankenmuth. Staff were all super friendly and professional. Breakfast was better than I expected and thankful for the options from cereal/toast to hot eggs and sausage, there was even fresh fruit.
