The property is located near the financial center and once we figured our way around we found the metro station nearby. The staff did not understand us and there were no maps of the area. The backing of our curtains were ripped and need to be replaced. Housekeeping was very good and the suite was comfortable.

Difficult to locate as located within meandering side streets and as surrounded by tall buildings everywhere, pinpointing on google map difficult. Location seemed a little on the derelict side. Didn’t feel safe walking back late at night. Charged HKD500 as deposit which wasn’t made aware prior to booking on Expedia. Queries staff at check-in, but was just told this is how they do it and if I wanted clarification, I needed to take it up with booking agent.The money has already been charged on my card. Am awaiting to see if it will be refunded. Complimentary beverages turned out to be two bottles of cheap soft drinks which other hotels would’ve given for free anyway. No room upgrade - was told already booked the best. Could’ve at least given a room on taller floor. Room smelled stuffy and unused for a long time. Not sure if it was cleaned prior to checking in.

Great location and very convenient with lots restaurants nearby. Room was clean and I enjoyed the modern look.

Great location with lots of restaurants around. Near the SOHO and Lan Kwai Fong and Donki where you can do late night shopping and eating. Room is clean. TV with lots of channel and you can view Netflix and Youtube on the big screen. Bed is too soft.

Nothing..no view..the lay out not good. No aminites ..no break fast room...staff not cooperative..they even did not assist to take a taxi

Unfortunately no pool as indicated due to renovation works but great view from large rooms! Very nice service. Location very convenient for restaurants, shopping and activities on Hong Kong island.

Great stay - the hotel is really clean, rooms are surprisingly large, and it's good value for money.

Small boutique hotel, great views, comfortable rooms, friendly staff, good location. Not a lot of amenities or lobby, but these are not expected from such small hotel.

The property was great, a lot of food choices around. The staff was great and very friendly we had to leave our luggage there for the day.

This is an amazing hotel located in the heart of Hong Kong Island. I would definitely recommend this hotel with it convenience to many local attractions as well as the MTR train. Everything is within walking distance of the hotel and it is just a short 2 blocks from the train station. I think many are intimidated by the location in not knowing but this is well suited for business or pleasure. As I participated in the morning breakfasts ... I found this to be a nice luxury being from the US and saved on the time of finding something to eat each morning. I will recommend a place a block away called the Brew Brothers for some amazing coffee though! I used the gym each morning as well. It is smaller with limited equipment but I can't complain as I was the only one in there. There are several restaurant located very close to the hotel to eat at, but we did find comfort in the Canteen located right across the street from the hotel for a beer and some fries or wings late at night.

The reception staff were second to none at Citadenes Mercer, from checking in and allowing us to have our room hours before the check in time ( we had been up for 24 hours so we were more than happy!! ) to giving us great tips on places to visit and carrying our heavy bags out to the taxi on our departure. The hotel room itself was scrupulously cleaned and replenished daily and the room was so quiet unlike many others I’ve stayed in as there’s only 2 rooms per floor. I cannot rate this hotel highly enough for the money. Not 5 star but for a small hotel in a fantastic ‘ real Hong Kong ‘ location, this place is way more than value for money!

nice 1 nite stay. the room is bit dated but in general it is acceptable and clean. the sofa in the dining room is odd and does not fit the room in terms of style. Breakfast buffet choices are limited but the quality is fair.

Hotel is in a great area. It looks a little run down from the outside but that is just HK in general - it's Asia. Reception is small as the hotel is vey narrow but very high, only 2 rooms per floor. We booked a Studio but they upgraded us to a one bedroom which was great. The room is well fitted out with everything you need. They even have a handy phone you can use and take with you around the streets with all sorts of info like locations and maps. Breakfast was basic but satisfying. The service was really good and helpful. We had a late flight and hey gave us a little extra time to check out and looked after our luggage until we were ready to leave. It is only a short walk to areas like Lan Kwai Fong or Soho. We even walked from the hotel to the Airport Express I would recommend the hotel

This was my second stay in Hongkong and I choosed the same Hotel as last time. Room offers good space and friendly staff. Breakfast is ok for some days. Very central location with railstation in close proximity. Good choise for some days at a reasonable price. Recommended
