A fantastic location if you’re travelling on the ferry to Vancouver Island. The manager Ted was very helpful and hospitable. The shared facilities are fantastic- very comfortable and clean.

Owner yelled at me upon arrival for walking on something in the driveway in wich I am still not shure what it was. The very impolitely tells me to leave my shoes outside. Then I find some stranger standing in the suite we rented. It was very unclear how shared this house is with a bunch of strangers. The kids were scared of him so they didnt want to come out of the vehicle. So we just left. Then later he charges me for the room and then steals extra money from my credit card. So a very rude thief at that. This person should not be a host!

Great location and comfy room :)

Everything was convenient and clean. It was really close to the ferry terminal which was excellent for us since we took the first ferry of the day. The host was very friendly.

I probably should have asked for a main floor room since I have some difficulty with stairs. Although I was okay with sharing a bathroom, I didn't like being asked to clean the bathroom. I feel that should not be a request when you pay a lot for a room as it is. We left it tidy and that should be enough.

Great option if you are looking for more space and amenities than a hotel would offer. It is a huge house with 12 or so rooms. I mét some other nice folks staying. There is a full house (kitchen, fridge, a few dining tables, living room with a big tv). Has a Welcoming feel. Our on site host was kind, friendly and helpful and really seems to enjoy his job.

Air conditioning in the bedroom would have been nice, but there was a fan that could be moved around where you want it.

Clean and relaxing ambiance

Time consuming when finding the location because when you use the GPS its totally different from where it use to be. I searched the exact address but it will lead you to a dead end property (very scary and unsafe). So what we did is to use the alternate route.

Hostel Atmosphere but private, calm rooms, great value for money, nice outdoor area, easy check in, clear instructions
