The hole stay was crap

I will NEVER stay in another hotel when I have to talk to someone on a television screen. It's extremely impersonal. There was a man standing off to the left but I had to talk to someone on a goddamn television screen! Never again. If you want my business, you can conduct it in person.

There was a fridge for our cold stuff

We lost our cold stuff in the fire that happened in the building at 3am.

The room was being remodeled so looked pretty

The property is under construction. There was only the cleaning crew and construction crew there. No one was at the front desk. We had to check in with a kiosk. When they renovated the took out the old balconies, which is was we were looking forward to. We stayed here before the renovations started a few years ago and enjoyed our stay better then. When we got to our room there was no comforter and it looked like they only partially cleaned the room. During our stay we killed 4 roaches and the TV never worked properly. The TV looked like it was being run off of bunny ears. As soon as we went up the stairs (elevators are down for maintenance) the distinct smell of pot smacked us in our face. Also, hubby said when he went to get ice there was a homeless looking man charging his phone by the ice machine.
