Absolute High was absolutely amazing. The cabin was extremely clean and had everything we needed. The location was perfect, secluded yet close enough to town. The views….breathtaking! We will definitely rent this cabin again.

By far the cleanest rental we have ever stayed at! Very happy with the mountain views and cabin was exactly as advertised. Easy and quick drive to downtown West Jefferson. We can't wait to get back!

The view was great, not hard to get to. It was very nice inside. Great location for a stunning view but close enough to West Jefferson or Old Barn winery.

The only negatives is the fridge could use updating as it froze our milk and food, and the water pressure in shower is very low. Other than that it was perfect. The gas fireplace was easy to turn on with a switch and worked great. The homey touches were appreciated.

This property is absolutely lovely! The porch is perfect with lots of rocking chairs and small tables. The kitchen is well stocked with pots/pans/cups/plates. There are space heaters and plenty of extra of blankets for those who tend to stay chilly. The downstairs tv/entertainment area is perfect for teens & kids. The owners/property managers really had nice touches with things like new fluffy towels, Christmas decorations, and seasonal scented hand soap. Best of all, our fur babies were able to travel with us. We didn’t have snow while we were there, but definitely would need 4 wheel drive when it snows. The cabin feels secluded but is close to town (groceries, shopping, dining). We highly recommend this cabin and hope to return.

I stayed at this beautiful property for 5 days during Christmas and it was just what me and my husband wanted. The views were fantastic and the neighborhood was beautiful, we took walks every day with our Golden Retriever Pup and really appreciated the location. The cabin was extremely clean and ready for us when we arrived. Check in was super easy, the property manager called me the day of our check in and let us know the access code for the door. The only two things I would say I was not super happy with and could be a suggestion for improvement is the Master bathroom shower had really low water pressure, I think if they changed the shower head it would improve the pressure because the other bathroom upstairs had a different shower head and the pressure was way stronger and 10 times better. And the other suggestion for improvement would be the Master Bedroom Bed was really uncomfortable, not sure if the mattress is old or just not the best. I think now always there are good quality king mattresses for under $1,000. They should look into purchasing a new one, the Lull bed is great and inexpensive. To sum up this review I would definitely stay at this property again because overall it is a great property with great views. If your looking for a nice peaceful vacation spot I would definitely choose to stay here. We also did a lot of hiking and activities which were all 45 to 1 hours away and the drive was very enjoyable as your are surrounded by mountains.

Not only are the views terrific, but the owners have thought of everything to make guests feel comfortable and at home. We spent Thanksgiving weekend at this cabin and it's incredibly well-stocked - it had everything we needed to do lots of cooking in the kitchen! The cabin is cozy and it was spotlessly clean. Both of the TVs were great sizes and the Rokus connected to both were a huge plus for streaming, not to mention the convenience of having cable too. All of the furniture was very comfortable and we loved the big porches with rocking chairs. The mountain views from this house and the neighboring street are some of the best views we've seen in the High Country. The management company was also great and made our stay easy. We are definitely planning to rent this cabin again!

It is only 5 minutes downhill to West Jefferson. We love the view from the porch and the view when walking. The only problem when walking is back uphill. It really gives good exercise. We have the cabin again in August and can't wait to come back. Thanks!

We made it down the mountain to ski the next morning but did not dare head back up to stay the second night. As it was just the two of us, we only used the main floor but would be a great cabin to bring our 3 teens as there are two more bedrooms and a nice finished basement/media room which they would love. We ate all but one meal in and the kitchen was well equipped for my personal 'hubby' chef. We had no problem finding the cabin, roads are well-marked as are the directions from the property company. We hiked nearby Mt Jefferson and spent the afternoon having lunch and exploring downtown West Jefferson. I only wish we were staying through Sunday so we could have hunkered down in front of the fireplace (which worked perfectly) and enjoyed the several inches of snow we awoke to on Sunday morning. A truck came through in the morning so we were able to follow the tracks down the mountain in our all wheel drive. To address a prior reviewer, we had no issue with the driveway either - in perfect shape. Lastly the property company was wonderful, even checking on Sunday to make sure we got out ok. Will definitely rent this home again... we love the whole area.
