A lovely hone with large rooms, great amenities, and an amazing view. The home is well kept and has supplies to help you leave it as clean as you find it. Just a few blocks from town, and a few minutes to mountain trails and sunset views.

Nice house. It was extremely clean. We used the master bedroom and found the bed to be comfortable. The house is decorated tastefully. Communication was great. Check in and check out instructions were easy to understand. It is a split bedroom house so if you are traveling with other guest the master bedroom is on one side of the house and the other two bedrooms are on the other side with a living room separating them. Great for privacy. Outdoors was quiet and we only saw one car the entire weekend. We highly recommend this house.

We had a great stay at this little cabin. It was just what we needed for 4 adults and a 4 month old. It was very clean, and the kitchen had the tools we needed. We would stay there again!

This house is great. The pictures do not do it justice. Very clean, comfortable beds. Enjoyed the sunrise and morning coffee. Very relaxing and quiet sitting around the fire pit at night. Deer walking the property within 10ft of you. Will definitely recommend and stay here again.

Perfect combination of country getaway and small town living. West Jefferson is a mini version of Asheville -- an artsy town with great mountain views -- but without the crowds. The house is located at the edge of town. You know the town is just down the hill, but you still get to feel like you are away from it all -- while surrounded by trees and overlooking a great mountain view. The house is beautifully renovated and decorated. Everything looks brand new and super clean! Wish we could have stayed longer! Congratulations to the owners for creating a terrific place to stay.

Our experience was excellent. We have never rented a vacation house before that was as spotlessly clean or as well cared for as this one. The kitchen, the equipment there and the appliances were all top of the line. The hosts answered my questions several times before we arrived and were gracious and hospitable. We love West Jefferson and this rental is highly recommended.

Beautiful setting, convenient to town, well stocked
This home has everything you need to enjoy your stay in the mountains. Rocking chairs on the front porch and around the fire pit, a deck out back for morning coffee, ample seating in the living room and comfy beds.
We did not find it "walkable" to town - it's a fairly steep gravel road. However, it's just a minute to drive down and street parking was plentiful. Would definitely stay here again!

Long weekend getaway
This property is in excellent condition. The appliances are top of the line. The cookware was great. The king bed was very comfortable and the linens were in excellent condition. The rocking chairs on the front porch was great place to sit and look at the beautiful mountains. The solo fire pit was great in the evening having a glass of wine and relaxing. There was plenty of firewood cut up for us to use. Overall a great trip thank you for allowing us to stay at your home.

Spotless and convenient
What a lovely home in the most convenient location to enjoy West Jefferson! The house allows dogs but you would never know it. It was spotlessly clean and well organized with everything one might need for a comfortable stay. The beds are cozy and the cookware in the kitchen was fantastic. It also feels very private although located in a neighborhood close to town. An easy drive to town (or a walk in the summer) with many shops and restaurants to enjoy. The split bedroom plan is great when sharing with friends or family. Thanks for sharing your home.

Girls Weekend!
Our same group of girlfriends have been doing girls weekend generally the same weekend in July for 12 years now. We have recently expanded our trip to outside of the Jersey Shore area. We were very excited to get to the mountains of North Carolina and visit one of our girls who left the tribe recently to retire to NC. The VRBO was perfect for our visit. Perfect size, perfect space, perfect location. Super easy to get in and out, all the amenities and everything we ever needed to put another wonderful and fun girls weekend in the books! My husband and I spent a week's vacation at this home and we totally loved it! The views from the front porch were spectacular and we enjoyed watching the sunrise over the mountain each morning. The home was very clean and comfortable and was well equipped with everything we needed for a wonderful stay. The owners were very responsive and hospitable and saw to it that all of our needs were met.
