Amazing, fun and private property. Lots of activities and things to do. The kids loved the kayaks, hot tub and outdoor screen room. House was fully stocked with everything you could need. Great place for a family getaway.

We had 8 couples in this house for a long weekend. We did draw straws for bedrooms - hard to find an 8 bedroom rental. Everything was perfect. Had all the kitchen items we needed to cook, prepare and serve this group. So much inside and outdoor space. We brought 2 fishing boats and they even had covered dock stalls. A perfect location to trails, wineries, restaurants. Egypt Lake is beautiful and the house is right on peninsula- almost all windows are views to the water. Todd was the most responsive host I have encountered and truly appreciate his time with all my inquiries. Best Friends for Life unanimously agreed to return.

We really enjoyed our stay at Paradise on the Peninsula at Lake of Egypt. The opportunity to do water sports, such as kayaking, paddle boarding, or just enjoying the lake on the dock, was great! Having the option to rent, the pontoon boat was also very enjoyable for our family. Paradise on the peninsula was cozy, and we loved the 3-season room. The extra outdoor amenities such as the screened porch and fire pit were lovely! We would definitely recommend this home to any large family as it slept many people. Lake of Egypt was a very clean and lovely lake. Our family is hoping to come back again one day.

This was a beautiful, spacious home with wonderful landscaping. Lots of parking too. Great for a large group. Great views. The lake is at your dòorstep. Fully stocked. We all had a great visit. We used the kitchen alot.

This property was great for our large family vacation. Plenty of room to branch out. Access to the water is close to the house. The swim dock was awesome. Great for swimming, paddleboard or kayak races and lounging. Plenty of shoreline available to fish. The screened in porch was an added bonus as a hangout location for the teenagers and nightly fires at the fire pit were a great way to end the day. Firepit was well stocked. Kitchen had everything you could need and more. Jim and Georgia were super friendly. Highly recommend!

Our whole family gathered for our annual family vacation. It’s been going on for over 20 years. Most of the 14 grandkids are now grown, but they still want to gather each year. This was a beautiful home and location to enjoy this gathering. It was clean, very well cared for, and had everything we needed for a fun week. All we needed was our food, clothes, beach towels, and sun screen! With 2 acres, we even had the space for some quiet, alone time … which was a blessing with 25+ people some days. (There was some coming and going with several trips to the St. Louis airport.) It was a wonderful way to honor our late husband/father/ grandpa who died in April, but was with us in spirit every step of the way. Thank you Todd and Family for providing your beautiful home.

Great weekend! Grill is awesome to cook large meals. The boat was super easy to rent & utilize. Lake was awesome!

A great place for our group of girl friends. We each could have our own space for sleeping. The sunroom area was a favorite. We enjoyed the hot tub even with not such great weather the first night. We appreciated the early time arrival that Todd granted for us. Definitely would recommend to others.

This property is very welcoming. We had 18 with 8 more joining us every day. Plenty of spaces for family from ages 6 months to 80 years young. I would say it is a wonderful place for a family reunion in a beautiful location. Even without the water features that are sure to be lovely in the summer, the grounds were fine to explore. Inside we had plenty of spaces for all types of socializing - small group conversations, watching football, playing pool or other games, or cooking a meal for 25. There were also a couple of spaces large enough for getting the entire group together comfortably. We even had beautiful Christmas decorations to enjoy. So many amenities, very clean & well stocked. From my first contact with the owner, I felt he was doing his best to make our stay a good one. His mom or dad checked with us to see if all was ok and they responded to our questions promptly. Everyone in our group thinks this would be a good place to return to. About equal driving distances from locations in Tennessee, Kansas & Missouri. Our extended family stayed on this property in early November. The house and grounds are exactly as described -- absolutely lovely and spacious. The kitchen was well stocked with the basics. The host promptly answered every question ahead of our stay and while we didn't have any additional needs while there, we met the estate manager who offered help with anything we might need. We took full advantage of the warm weather (considering it was November) and enjoyed sitting by the lake and fire pit (which had plenty of wood available). During the day, we also took several local hikes and visited a few wineries. Recommendations are Ferne Clyffe State Park for easy-to-moderate hiking and Blue Sky was our favorite winery. It's a lovely area and we plan to come back!

This home was really nice with beautiful views of the lake all around us. Kitchen was small but well stocked with an additional kitchen in the basement if needed. We used the basement kitchen as an overflow of the bathroom downstairs as there were 6 of us using it and it is pretty small. Bedrooms & bathrooms on the main level & upstairs were a nice size. Fire pit area was really nice and well stocked. If it would have been a summer day we would have taken advantage of the pontoon, kayaks & paddle boat. Overall a really nice place to stay!

Very nice home on an amazing piece of property. My family thoroughly enjoyed their stay and we all wish it could have been longer. Maybe next time we’re all in the area!

Great location, awesome property

We've stayed here twice, once with family and this time with friends. It is a great lake house with lots of space and amenities. Todd and his parents are great hosts and very helpful. The lake is beautiful and swimming of the pier is fun for all ages. I highly recommend for anyone looking to getaway with a larger group. We have rented many houses in south west Michigan and Wisconsin. This house is worth the farther drive!

Todd’s house was perfect for our group of 18. The yard was nice and flat for my parents and well maintained with beautiful landscaping. The dock was huge and is where we spent most of our time. Todd was very quick with responses.

We chose this location to have a small intimate family wedding and we weren’t disappointed. The house is spectacular the views were spectacular and Georgia was available for any questions or issues. There is not one negative thing I can say about this property we loved it and we will definitely be back!

The property was very clean and spacious. We caught 145 fish collectively, kayaked, paddle boarded, and swam in the lake. We also went hiking, played games and had fun.

We used the house for a family reunion and had 20 people staying in the house. Prior to our stay, Todd, the owner, was responsive to every question and communicative throughout our stay. The house is located on a peninsula, and is not only beautiful but also very private. When we arrived, the owner's parents, who live nearby, greeted us. The house was clean when we arrived and ready on time as promised. We cooked all of our meals there and the kitchen worked out perfectly! The teens and young adults made good use of the bunk bed room and downstairs bedroom, plus used a day bed and some portable mattresses in the family room. All the adults were able to use the main floor and upstairs bedrooms, so it worked out well in terms of sleeping arrangements. Because we stayed here in June, we spent a lot of time outdoors, but when inside, we used the kitchen, sunroom, and downstairs pool room a lot. All of the kids and young adults in our group loved the pool room.! Tip: we rented Todd's pontoon for the weekend and loved it. I would highly recommend it. Smaller groups took the boat out each day and again for evening rides. The kayaks were used early in the morning and some members of our family spent one day golfing at the nearby course. Overall, it was a great stay, everything was just as promised, and the location was stunning. We plan to host our next family reunion here, so we'll be back!

I took my family to this property for my birthday. The property is fantastic. The interior was well laidout. tastefully decorated and well stocked with things we would need, Tthe outsside was beautifully landscaped with fountans, waterfalls, and anything we could want. Of course the boat dock completed this great property. I would very highly recomend this place to anyone . It was as good as it gets.

Stayed three nights with a group of ten of my work friends, had an excellent weekend. House is very well kept and has lots of room to either group up or do your own thing in the house and around the property. Fishing, paddle boarding, kayaking, firepit, etc. The pontoon boat rental being docked at the house ready to go was especially convenient. We are all back at work today and wishing we were still there. Highly recommended.

We had 8 adults and 4 kids under 5 (2 under 10 months). The house was huge and allowed everyone the space they needed. the listing is extremely accurate but undersells how beautiful this location is. All amenities were as advertised and in great shape.
