This property is awesome and just as advertised. The kitchen is very well stocked with everything needed to cook while there. Our teen girls loved the lily pad and kayaks. If you are looking to rent a pontoon boat, I highly recommend Weiner Rides. Jamie delivered the boat to our dock in the morning and picked it up that evening - super convenient and easy! There is also a pretty well stocked Dollar General Market close by with produce, frozen foods, etc. I definitely recommend this cabin!

It was a wonderful vacation. The house was clean and everything was there that we could need. We had kayaks, a paddle boat , there are lawn chairs, a fire pit. It was great! A wonderful way to relax. Thank you so much!

Had a great start at the lake of Egypt. We’ve been going to the lake for 15+ years, first time staying here. Love the beach on the lake. Quiet neighborhood. Lovely owner!

Very happy with property. Beautiful setting, water view and lots of trees. My daughter loved beach. I loved wildlife. Cabin was very clean and decorated nicely. Close to town to go eat at restaurants. We also visited a winery. The only thing I would suggest is to maybe put cushions for outdoor furniture in storage when not in use. The cushions on downstairs patio were covered in what we think was pollen or dirt and upstairs had one cushion with hole eaten in it probably by squirrels(saw droppings). We had a lovely stay and would love to come back someday.

This is a lovely cabin and our kids enjoyed it. Very clean and central location and fun to have boats. The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is that its located 1 mile from an active power plant. Fortunately you can't see it from the property, but you do drive past it and its on the same lake as the cabin. Also of note, it's taken several weeks to get our security deposit back, despite no damages. I believe that is a VBRO issue, but am not sure.

This is the place we stay the last 4 years for a guys fishing trip. Fabulous place to stay great spot on the lake.

This was the perfect launching spot for adventures in Giant City State Park, Millstone Bluffs, Garden of the Gods and Fern Clyffe. So many more places we wished we could have seen! Close to great coffee (Crown Brew) and bakery (Grandma Puckett's), kitchen was fully equipped for making meals and picnics. Loved the grill on the back patio. The crown jewel of this property is the small beach in the back, after a day of hiking coming home to throw something on the grill while the kids play in the sand was just next level wonderful. The lake was very peaceful and nice calm water when we visited (not much boat traffic) so the older kids and I even got to enjoy the kayaks.

So much to do in the area but so little time. We loved the house, beach, and property. Each space inside and out felt private. Kayaks were a plus. We would definitely stay again.

We loved everything about this property! So much nicer even than the photos! I will remember my son kayaking for the first time, paddle-boating, playing cards on the porch, swimming, watching the kids play on the beach, making s’mores in the firepit, reading on the beach and porch, and enjoying the time with my family and friends here! Loved going to Garden of the Gods while we were here too and seeing Sassy the Sasquatch. An amazing trip! Thank you!

This was our second time staying here. Such a great location on the lake, and every detail is thought out to make the cabin feel welcoming. Our kids spend the whole time at the sandy beach or exploring with the kayaks. We love coming here!

Amazing house! Nice and clean and very functional. Front deck was great as well as the patio. Kids loved the lake and all the toys that were present with the house. Really had no complaints other then a few comfy chairs on the main floor would have been nice.

We love the Lake of Egypt and truly enjoyed this property. We have stayed at many other rentals and this has everything you need. Privacy, a beach at the lakefront, a dock, and plenty of extras to make your stay enjoyable. Would definitely return and recommend to others.

Love this house and location. It was perfect for what we were looking for to come back to Lake of Egypt. This is our second trip to this lake and first and this location. House is super cute, I do believe it built in 2015 or 2016 so pretty new. We had a rain day so some of the games they had were fun. We used 2 of the kayaks for a few hours on the lake on our last day. They have a nice beach area and a dock if you happen to bring a boat. We went to hike in a couple of the nearby parks and they were nice as well. Really enjoyed our trip and we will most likely re book this spot. Thanks ! J and J.

Property was perfect for our family of 5. Kids enjoyed fishing, kayaking, swimming in the lake, and evening fires by the beach. Everything was clean and well stocked. Would definitely recommend.

We have a fairly large family with kids in multiple ages, this spot was perfect there was stuff for everyone including plastic toddler bowls! Great fishing, fun mini beach. We had a blast!

We come to Illinois every year for our annual hunting trip, this year we did not have a place to stay. So I found this cabin on the lake. With quick response, the cabin was available, the host was quickly responsive, and the house was perfect for us. With easy access and stocked with everything needed, we have found a new place to rent every year.

Another great trip and place to stay. I think this is our fourth time at this house. Perfect for our needs, fantastic!! Kids once again enjoyed all the parks for hiking in this area. Clean home and very private, enjoyed the evenings on the deck watching the lake.

We had such a fantastic weekend at 700 Adams Court! There was so much outdoor seating for us to relax while we were home and we really enjoyed hanging out around the firepit each night. The property was beautiful, the house was clean and had everything we needed. The homeowners were very friendly and responsive. We have already shared our experience with friends and family and encouraged them to check out this property!

The lake cabin was awesome! One of the cleanest homes we have ever rented on VRBO. The kitchen had every thing we needed. Private lake access, beautiful views, short drive to hiking and wineries. Two fire pits and two grills. Can’t wait to go back!
