Came in town to visit family with my wife and 2 kids. Condo was clean and updated and staff were super friendly. Walking distance to many shops and restaurants and public transport. Would definitely recommend.

This is a superb Chicago vacation condo. It is clean, spacious, and quiet. We walked to breakfast and dinner and took a quick Lyft to Wrigley Field. We will definitely stay there again.

I stayed for 8 days while my floors where being replaced. My service dog stayed with me. The staff were welcoming and there were dog treats in a bowl by the reception desk. The condo was well maintained, the television had DirectTV and the kitchen was fully equipped. The beds were comfy and there is a nice deck right off the living room. Honestly, it was like staying at home but with a lobby filled with friendly staff.

Amazing property in a convenient location

We have spent the last 4 years visiting our son in Chicago while he was in college. We have stayed in The Gold Coast & on the north side. This weekend was to celebrate his graduation day! The accommodations were perfect for our family. Very comfortable, clean and cool location. Patio (outstanding view of the Chicago skyline) would have been a wonderful spot to have his friends come for a party if this year wasn’t so crazy. We loved The Guesthouse! Thank you for the experience to all employees we met.

This was a very comfortable suite. It was clean and nicely decorated. The lobby is beautiful, and the staff was very friendly. We enjoyed the local restaurants.

We really enjoyed our stay and appreciated the cleanliness and spacious apartment style unit. It was nice to have common area to hang out & have a kitchen with all of the necessary items to use. Only items that could be improved were quality of mattress, adding room darkening shades (got quite bright in the am!) and easier to get in touch with front desk/host ahead of check-in. Listing doesn't indicate it but you must pay for parking. Overall, nice experience and would definitely highly recommend!

Positives were property as advertised, friendly & helpful, spacious. We did a lot of cooking and the kitchen cookware & accessories were either low cost or just missing; not an issues if you want to eat out locally at the many fine restaurants.

We cannot say enough great things about this unit! It far surpassed our expectations.

Great customer service and front desk feature made check in so easy. Held our bags as we arrived early and also held our bags again while we toke a tour after check out but before our flight. Supplied a cot after we realized sofa didn’t pull out.

We, as a family of five, went to Chicago for the graduation of our daughter. we enjoyed staying at this property, it was like a home because of the great spaces. Also the people working there were very helpful. we recomend this property

This was a fabulous two bedroom, two bathroom apartment that was comfortable and sophisticated. Easy access to the city. So much more cost effective than a hotel. Highly recommend a stay here!

This by far was the best VRBO that we have ever stayed at. The property was tastefully furnished, clean and very accommodating. Everything we needed was there. The staff good not have been more helpful. We would definitely choose The Guesthouse again on future visits to Chicago!

We spent the weekend at the Guesthouse Hotel, picked it for location and being pet friendly. The suites are great, lots of space, well stocked kitchen. The neighborhood is lovely, little shops and several restaurants within easy walking distance. Getting downtown was easy, used the bus as well as Lyft rides providing easy access. Would definitely stay again.

Had a fabulous stay at the Guesthouse. Relaxed but first class, spacious and comfortable accommodations you don't want to leave; warm and helpful staff with great local recommendations. You can tell they want you to have a great stay at their property. Must be why they are one of Trip Advisor's top 25 small hotels in the country. Convenient to everything Andersonville, we walked everywhere and didn't bother with a car or public transit. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Do be aware that part of the charm of the property is that it's a beautifully improved old building, so you will hear footsteps from the rooms overhead. We never heard voices or TVs and there might have been some youngsters overhead, so a couple of times a day we heard a quite a bit of foot traffic. Didn't dampen our experience or enthusiasm for the place. Loved everything about it.

Only two suggestion a second TV In second bedroom and a stronger shower head in master

Honestly, this felt more like living in a large apartment than a hotel stay. Rick and his staff were excellent. Great restaurants and bars nearby. My only recommendation is to upgrade the exercise equipment.
