room was OK, one light not working (not reported). Breakfast was OK Restaurant staff could be better. No wine list offered with dinner.

The decor looks/feels a little poor however notice of refurbishemnt is given.

AC not working and made room hotter. Known problem and staff provided fan and shut off AC which was perfect. No conditioner in shower and had forgotten my own. Really frustrating no plugs at bed. Usb ports but things have moved on t o usbc Reed diffuser in bathroom but empty and looked forgotten about. Some stays we get biscuits and kitkats and others nothing.

My room had sick stains on the carpet. The hotel has foul smells from public toilets to seaweed and sewage. There were rat traps at the front entrance that weren't a good look. My room was either too cold or too hot, the heating system wasn't working. I was also missing a shower gel I asked reception for one but I never got one so had to buy some and I was only given 1 robe when I asked for 2 I still didn't get one. .I ordered a burger and chips with an orange juice. It was cold and it cost me £24. The lighting in the room wasn't great either. There is a pool facility part of David Lloyd which wasn't mentioned on booking.com. the main pool was closed, only out door which wasn't heated enough for me. It was freezing outside. I went into jacuzzi for literally 5 mins before been told to leave as it needs closing due to too much chlorine. The facilities at David Lloyd were disgusting and very cold.

Location was great. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, beds were comfy. Having use of the gym next door was a hit with the kids.

Bathroom was slightly dated, my 16 year old son struggled to stand under the shower, he had to crouch a bit.

Appalling communication prior to our stay. I had sent three mails explaining we were visitors from Spain arriving for the first time, and late, and asking for Advice on Taxis. This lack of response caused considerable inconvenience and cost .

We booked dinner bed and breakfast Sadly the evening meal was the worst we have ever had any where ! We waited over 2 1/2 hours to be served. The staff were lovely . It turned out the head waitress was having to cook the meals as short staffed

Close to airport, good retail park across the road with cinema, bowling etc. close enough to get into anfield and the city centre

Ordered food from the bar. 3 steak sandwiches. Very poor quality, cold, bread not toasted. Not worth £14.50. Sent it back but were still charged for the food. Offered some complimentary drinks but it was 8pm and we had to go somewhere else to eat and we were going home early next morning so didn’t get to use them.

The decor of the hotel was fab, the beds were comfy and the breakfast plentiful. Really friendly polite staff. Easy access to city centre by bus outside hotel. Perfect for a weekend break with children, being out of the centre we didn't have the party people coming in at all hours (I'm just jealous!!) making noise.

Great manager on the day of arrival there was a minor issue and he dealt with it in a very professional and respectful way. Much appreciated.

Room was comfortable and parking was easy. Check in was fast

Bathtub rod was rusted and dangerous. Basic stuff such as toothpaste and mobile charger not available. Room phone was not working properly. Breakfast staff were not consistent with all guest.

We upgraded to get access to the priority lounge, which was drinks, snacks & breakfast. There was No breakfast as stated, we made a complaint via booking.com & hotel staff lied and told us they gave us an alternative breakfast which was not true.

We had a slight problem with a beeping sound (we were next to an exit) The staff offered to make another room ready for us, but since it was late and our son had fallen asleep, we chose not to move at that point. It was our dicission to stay. We got to move the next day. Our son had a birthday that we mentioned to the staff (to make a conversation) and when we got to our room, there were balloons and candy for the boy. That was a nice surprise :)

Breakfast was very good ,as able to order eggs the way we like them ,liked the fresh fruit and cold meats,only criticism would be ,a lot of the time cold cuts were not topped up so had to ask for them ,staff were very accomodating ,Val took great pride in her work and nothing was too much trouble ,access to the David Lloyd was my absolute favourite ,gym was fantastic and adult only swim times just perfect,loved the proximity of the hotel to this facility,making fresh towels and locker keys available was an added bonus ,basically booked this property ,because it provided access to a 25 metre indoor pool and a 20 metre outdoor pool and use of the gym,apparently it is getting a re- vamp in the next 3 months(David -Lloyd)

The squashed bug next to the mirror in the bathroom that remained there throughout are stay ,no linen change although we were there for 6 nights,

I’ve stayed here before with no issues, but this room was dirty. There was beard all over the bathroom and bed, I’m still finding it on my toiletries a week later. There was multiple very sticky patches on the floor. The room smelled like body odour and was just awful to stay in Never had an issue with this hotel before so not sure if the room had been poorly cleaned, or was left in such a state by the last person that this was comparatively clean to how it was left

Great value - staff we came across were all amazing and should be proud of themselves 👏👏 Breakfast was fantastic and the quality massively surpassed our expectations ~ Well done, chef and well done service team. We’re fussy about this bit and every element was superb. Ingredients were great, presentation was great and there were some really clever touches that made the breakfast experience extra positive.

Stooping whilst standing up in a Bath to have a shower seems a bit old fashioned….. Shower power is brilliant and the bathroom space is really good ~ plenty of good quality towels and nice products offset 👍

It was very quirky but well positioned for the centre over the road and very bear the bus stop

Only faults were lift stopped working and my wife is disabled so it was a little issue getting downstairs. And we had a adjoining bedroom and the guy next door was up early talking loud. But that's really being nit picky
