Beautiful property and great location in Kyoto. Amenities were great and loved the dining options. Staff was amazing - friendly and helpful.

As fotos não condizem com o Hotel. Hotel antigo, precisa de uma reforma, corredor com cheiro ruim, academia com cheiro muito ruim de suor, sem janela, sem água, distante dos quartos. Corredor claustrofobico.

This hotel is truly amazing, beautiful with helpful staff and it was very easy to communicate as most everyone we met had a good grasp or fluency of English. The room is the largest we stayed in in Japan, comfortable bed, and the bathroom shower was fantastic! The breakfast buffet was very good quality as well.
This is not a budget hotel, by any means. You will be catered to for whatever you need (laundry services, room service, take out containers for breakfast buffet, hailing you a taxi) but it was the most expensive part of our trip to Japan. Well worth it for our once-in-a-lifetime trip, but potentially cost prohibitive for other travelers.

Conveniently placed next to one of the most impressive temples in Kyoto (in my opinion).
The hotel staff are exceptional - even bowing to you as you leave in a taxi. I would go back in a heartbeat.

The bathroom was amazing in our room. After exploring the shrines and walking around all day I always looked forward to taking a bath in the large tub.
At breakfast we were always greeted by friendly staff and the chef himself. Consistently we ate a delicious meal with great service.
The staff was so polite and helpful during all steps of our stay.
All around I am very happy with our stay. The hotel was close enough to Kyoto station that we could walk and a short train ride to downtown.
We kept the blinds closed since our window was right by a nearby street. But even so this was only a minor inconvenience

The hotel was beautifully appointed, clean and a fantastic breakfast was offered. The hotel also put on an event with complimentary bubbles and a traditional Giesha dance.
