The house was spotless and so well equipped. We were challenging each other to think of things that were not in the house! We could think of nothing 🙂 The owner met us at the property, which was very nice. I had contact with the owners whilst we were there as they had heard the water pressure in the area had been affected. Such lovely people to deal with. We didn’t have an issues but I’m sure they would have been sorted as soon as possible. We had basic supplies in the fridge on our arrival. I fact, it was more than basic supplies. The bathrooms all had shampoo and shower gel in them. We didn’t need to take anything with us! I fully recommend this house if you want to stay near to Bath.

Host was quick to respond to messages, easy to check in, plenty of parking, house was outstanding very clean and had lots of little touches to make the stay even better. The house was clean and modern plenty of space inside and out, rooms and kitchen well equipped. Would definitely recommend and would book again!

We have just come back from a family celebration- 60th and 1st birthdays at Sally and Andrew’s house. The house is a fabulous family entertaining space. Light, open plan and airy with an extensive range of kitchen appliances, bean to coffee machine and very well stocked cupboards and fridge, all for our use. We were overwhelmed by the generosity of Sally and Andrew. It felt as if we had been invited into their personal home. Everything was thought through to perfection. Extensive mood and fairy lights, washing powder for the machine, books, blankets and even dog treats. The house itself was immaculately clean, bed linen soft, white and luxurious and an abundance of toiletries to use. The sauna on the first floor was well used and Sally ensured we had a large supply of fluffy white towels to see us through the week. The views across Bath from the front of the house were spectacular. The outside space was perfect for 2 toddlers, 6 adults and the dogs. The hot tub with the fairy lights and outdoor heater ensured our family evenings were cosy and fun. The garden was very private and enclosed with great views out towards open fields. Sally is the most prompt and helpful host I have ever encountered. Speedy, thoughtful replies and a recommendation to The Bathwick Boatman for my 60th lunch which was perfect. Thank you so much Sally and Andrew for making my 60th and granddaughters 1st birthday so magical. We cannot recommend this house highly enough.

This house is wonderful and the host Sally has thought of everything. Really high spec throughout and everything you could need for your stay is there. The hot tub is lovely and outdoor space perfect for groups or families. So close to Bath town centre. The host communicates immediately and is extremely helpful. It is a luxury experience from start to finish. We will be back!

This lovely guesthouse (my family called it the Bath Palace) is huge, beautiful, spotlessly clean and strategically located within an easy walk to everything in Bath. We were with 8 minutes walk to Sydney gardens and 15 minutes to Great Pulteney. On this trip we lived a life of luxury. There was every appliance in the kitchen one could possibly need, and a few that I may now need to acquire. There were even espresso machines with the choice of decaf and regular Italian coffee beans. Sally has instructions for the use of absolutely everything until we were never at a loss of how to make something work. She was extremely helpful at showing us around and was responsive when we needed some assistance dealing with a mysterious beeping (water softener- sorted within minutes). We were a group of six, and there was plenty of room for us, with room to spare and space for each of us to escape each other for a while. There were multiple televisions, so nobody had to compromise on what to watch in the evenings. The garden is gorgeous, and we were able to enjoy the beautiful weather. We did not get to take advantage of what looks to be a beautiful walking path up the hillside to an overlook- because we spent most of our time in town. The hot tub was an excellent source of relaxation at the end of a long day of walking. The beds were extremely comfortable. The linen high end and luxurious. This was a vacation to remember and we would love to come back!

The detailed information provided by the hosts both in the house (notes on the use of every appliance, sauna, hot tub, even electric charging point etc.) which saved so much time and concern, and about Bath (from dining to avoiding the bridge) made this a very stress free stay. The house has a lovely outlook to fields with curious cows - great view from hot tub. The generous hosts opened their lovely home so we felt like friends rather than guests. Our family consisted of 3 generations, 3 nationalities, 5 adults and one teenager. We were all happy with the roomy accommodation, comfortable beds and cleanliness of the property and our teenager loved the tub in the family bathroom. We all enjoyed our stay.

We had such an enjoyable week in Bath. The owners were so helpful and welcoming. The house has beautiful views over bath and the situation is perfect. The accommodation is very well equipped - everything that we could possibly need was there. The facilities were enjoyed by us all - including our dog! Thoroughly recommend this property

Excellent home, well appointed & great hospitality. The Host left great instructions, lots of personal- touches- really thought of everything. We appreciated the welcome “ essentials” upon our arrival. The outside space was perfect, we loved the hot tub, flower gardens and herbs. Close to great walks and town. The house was very well furnished & maintained. Lovely home! We will be back
