The location of the apartment was fantastic, very central. Nice and clean, everything we needed was there.

The kettle could do with replacing due to broken lid apart from that absolutely nothing.

The location of this apartment couldn’t be better! It is right in the middle of everything and it was really handy to pop back to for a quick rest or to drop off shopping bags. We parked at Q-Park Shambles and it was just a short walk away. The apartment is really nice, lovely large windows (that you can open which we found helpful when we were too hot). The kitchen and bathrooms are lovely and well equipped with everything you need. We spoke to Kim and Sharon from CityLets during our stay and they were both absolutely wonderful, very helpful and kind which went a long way. Thank you!

- Beds in our opinion are very uncomfortable, they were bouncy and we could feel the springs, definitely need upgrading - Not a dislike, but more for others to be aware of that it is very central and so it can be very noisy early morning. The secondary glazing does help with this but you can still hear what’s going on outside.

The location is exceptional! We really loved how convenient this property is, right in the middle of York and close to the Shambles Market. We were so glad we could stop by at this place if we were tired or our parents felt cold after a sightseeing trip (since we came in winter). The apartment is really cozy, the appliances and furniture are new and very overall our stay was very comfortable. There is a really beautiful view of the sunrise visible from the apartment as well.

Nothing to say here, everything was perfect about this place and would totally recommend anyone coming with a family to stay here! Only thing we had a little trouble is, there was some central timer for the heating system, on our first day of stay it timed out and we did not see the heating working. After a while we figured out how to restart the timer in the living room, after which it started heating up the place again.

steep staircase not suited for people with mobility problems

The location was right in the middle of York. It was magical to look over Kings Square and the merry-go-round. Also, the accommodation was very spacious.

There was a smell in the living area, that suggested there was an issue with damp. Also, the freezer was completely frozen over.

Lovely flat, spacious, tasteful decor, comfortable beds and seating. Light and yet cosy with a lot of character. Well equipped for self catering, everything that we required.

Unfortunately the secondary glazing for the bedrooms was under my bed and not attached to the windows. The location is excellent, because of that it is noisy throughout the night from people leaving clubs, pubs etc and the bin collection started at 5.30 for the restaurants, shops etc. I had decided to sleep in the lounge for the remainder of the stay if ear plugs failed in the 2nd night. The lounge which had secondary glazing intact was much much quieter. Ear plugs worked well enough for the rest of the stay. If the secondary glazing was fixed I would give it a 9.

it was such a central location and excellent size property

The carpets were stained and the level of cleanliness was very very poor. The flat felt tired and in need of some tlc!The freezer was completely frozen with ice- the drawers were frozen shut so we couldn’t use it! Unfortunately because the location was so close to pubs and the shambles that it’s almost impossible to have a nights sleep that wasn’t broken by noise in the early hours and also at 6am (bakeries delivery and shambles market set up)

This was our second visit of 2022 first came in March, and on both occasions this property was the perfect base for our weekend away, the location is ideal for all activities and with the added bonus of the Christmas Markets this it was the perfect setting for us.

Nothing is to dislike about this property, we will 100% be back for a third visit.

Very central location, very spacious, comfortable sofa sitting area, 2 bathrooms,great property for people watching lots of windows,well appointed on the whole.

Lots of stairs to get to apartment. cheap mattresses which were very uncomfortable for us. the secondary double glazing was missing from the bedrooms making it quite noisy late at night and early with lots of deliveries etc, en suite fan was stuck on so needed to be switched off on the isolater which was very high up, Very dirty under bed,couple of light bulbs need replacing,freezer was so badly frosted couldn't open the drawers.

Very nice property in the centre of York, close to everything, clean and well equipped.

Being central it is VERY noisy early morning as there is a loading bay outside where lorries unload from 5.30am and rubbish collection is also very early. The secondary glazing in the main bedroom needs to be reinstalled (it was against the wall in the bedroom) this would help with noise reduction, or take ear plugs. Both beds were very uncomfortable and could to with a mattress topper.

Unfortunately the apartment carpet was dirty toilet was dirty in ensuite. Bed uncomfy the one in second bedroom my son had to cover up springs with spare duvet (which had huge stain on)

Our first time staying at this apartment but it won't be the last. The location is incredible. Could not be more central. The apartment is beautiful. Well appointed. Clean. Spacious. Outstanding.

The location was really good. Easy walking distance for everything in York. A stones throw to York Minster, The Shambles, Burley House and Yorvik Museum.

The only drawback for my sisters and myself, being elderly, was the stairs to the apartment but this did not stop us from enjoying our stay and we would certainly recommend the apartment, in fact have already done so. The convenience of the location overcame the stair situation.

The property was in a fantastic location, within easy access to attractions, shops, bars and restaurants. The apartment itself was spacious, modern, tastefully decorated and comfortable. loved the large windows in the lounge that looked out into the street.

There isn’t anything really, that you couldn’t like… I could see the steep ( 2 flights) stairs could be difficult for some to manage, especially with luggage. The front door was temperamental and didn’t always open with the push button inside, nor did the intercom door release inside property, so it could be tiring for some, going up and down to open the front door if mobility/ health is an issue. We didn’t used the kettle, as it needed descaling, had floaty bits inside. It wasn’t a problem as we used a pan instead. 😀 It would of been a nice touch to have basics/ welcome basket for making hot drinks etc. on arrival. But other than that, we couldn’t fault the apartment.
