Location and facilities were very good

The evening food choice was not great for children.

Room was lovely and comfortable with tea and biscuits left. Plenty of light but also heavy curtains to shut it out for sleep. Check in easy, plenty of free parking. Quiet. Health centre access amazing perk. Fluffy white towels, soft white bedding, toiletries provided.

Large and confusing to find way around. Hot breakfast a bit lacking if vegan. Only dairy milk provided in room (which isn't unusual but it's something I'd really like to see change). Wasn't provided with a fob needed for certain access doors so kept having to walk long way. Room hot.

Good room, comfortable bed, shower temperature was a bit variable, breakfast was very good! I would visit again!

Myself and a friend stayed here for a weekend break, we was a little disappointed that the Spa and pool closed earlier at the weekends but it didn't spoil our stay, when we first entered our twin room we thought it was a very strange layout but we soon got used to it and the beds were very comfortable. The room had everything we needed, plus a fan in the cupboard and there was a laundry room with an iron and ironing board that we could use. We found every single member of staff amazing, they just couldn't do enough for the guests, they are a fabulous team and should be applauded, We paid for bed and breakfast and I was pleasantly surprised at the range of vegan options available. We also had dinner at the hotel on 2 evenings again the food was very tasty and excellent value, there are 3 choices of main meal in the evening a meat dish, a fish dish and a vegan dish, then you can have as many side dishes and visits to the salad bar as you want all for just £11. We thought this was very good value. The hotel is spotlessly clean, it's a bit dated in places but for what we paid I was impressed and will definitely be back.

Unfortunately refurbishment of leisure facilities so unable to use the sauna or pool together as a couple we were not informed of this when booking. Checked in at 14.00 unable to eat as restaurant shut, bar was shut was directed to nearest Tescos

Lack of advertised Facilities

Breakfast was excellent. Staff extremely helpful and friendly.

There was a very large, noisy group also in the hotel. Doors closing at nighttime made it difficult to get to sleep.

The room was very clean

The room was like a cupboard, there was no bedside light, I think the wall lights that came on could likely have been seen from outer space. The facilities were 'tired'.
