The place was really good and the host is very kind and supportive . we felt very much like home and really enjoyed. This place has a fully equipped kitchen , AC room , attached bathroom , ample space and the freedom like home.

I am so glad I chose to stay at Tangalle Green house. Firstly, this is a very well designed and well maintained large house that is elegantly furnished and spotlessly clean. The air conditioning works well and the bed is large and exceptionally comfortable. The kitchen has everything you could ever need and the bathroom is charming. The covered outdoor patio is huge and the garden is just delightful with many squirrels and birds plus numerous fans to keep you cool. There is also a washing machine and tv available and the house really is a very elegant and comfortable home rather than just somewhere to stay. Secondly, the home's owner Ranjith is just a wonderful human being. He is organised, calm, sensitive and thoughtful and knows exactly how to ensure that everything during your stay flows smoothly. He provided a generous supply of fruits and yoghurts for breakfast. Tea, coffee, milk and water were also supplied. He also arranged for me to order meals from local restaurants and also organised for a very reliable and informative driver (Dilshan) to take me to visit and climb the superb rock temple located a short drive away. Ranjith also arranged for Dilshan to drive me directly to Ella when my plans had to change due to Covid 19 restrictions. My stay in Ella became very stressful as the Covid situation deteriorated and more restrictions were implemented. During this time I rang Ranjith several times and relied heavily on his wisdom and knowledge and importantly in the end his advice to leave Sri Lanka as soon as possible as it was no longer tenable for foreigners to stay whilst curfews were in place. After I spent several tense and stressful days trying to secure a flight out, Ranjith and Dilshan organised for another driver to take me from Ella to the airport 6 hours away. As a first time solo female traveller, I will never forget the kindness and care shown to me during this time by many Sri Lankan people but by Ranjith in particular.

An amazing place with an amazing host! Mr. Ranjith made our stay very amazing. He took care of everything and I mean everything! The villa has 2 rooms for guests with a shared bathroom that is half way open to the sky! So great! The villa is huge and has everything you can imagine. A fully equipped kitchen, living room and the very huge terrace, surrounded by lush green and many birds and squirrels 🐿 The location is great, not in the busy town, a bit up the road. Easy to flag a tuk tuk from the main road or walk to town within 20-25 minutes. We really enjoyed the stay and if we come back to Sri Lanka, the Tangalle Green House will be definitely on our list! Highly recommend!

Absolutely nothing!

This is 250 m2 house fully equipped for long stay with own garden. We stayed 4 nights in Tangalle and were so happy that booked this property. Host Mr. Ranjith provided us with all necessary information about beaches and places of interest in Tangalle and nearby and was ready to help us on every question. The house has 2 bedrooms, living room, kitchen and a big bathroom. There is big terrace with furniture. Many squirrels in the garden, it is really funny to observe their life. Will be good for families with kids. House is located in quiet place away from main roads. Tangalle center is 5 min by scooter/car, Tangalle beach is 7 min. So if you see this property on booking - you are very lucky! :)
