Stay was great and staff was very accommodating and friendly. Having the chef was so worth it!

-Condition of the home is very far removed from the photos in the listing. Rust, mold, oder and broken parts throughout. -Ac doesn’t work in the common areas. It was 86-88 degrees in 50% of the property. -Cleaning staff was there all day from 9-3, but they didn’t do much. They slept on the couches in the common areas and talked on the phone. We went several days without towels. -Half of the refrigerators and showers did not get cold. The refrigerators, cupboard and trash cans had food in them when we arrived. -Most of the TVs do not work. -The wifi did not work. -The home has roaches. They were seen floating in the pool, coming out of the couches and seen in the bathroom. The mosquitos and biting mites were also excessive. The staff said that the roaches were standard for the summer in DR, but I have never experienced this at any other place I have stayed. I sent all of these concerns to the house manager and they did nothing about it. They responded by saying "the house is 18 years old..." in addition to several other excuses. Overall the home is NOT in the condition advertised on the listing and I can provide side by side pictures to prove that. The lack of AC and proper/sanitary refrigeration is a health concern. We spent thousands of dollars on this rental and we ended up having to stay in a resort in the neighborhood due to sanitation and health concerns. I will never book with personal villas or VRBO ever again as a result.

We had a group of 20 girls (ages 25 to 30) and had the most incredible stay at this house!! It's a number of 2-3 bedroom units together in one home, with the pool and large outdoor common area to hang out. This was perfect for those who wanted to wander off to their room, but definitely played to our larger crowd of hanging out together on the covered patio lounge. The pool was very clean, beds were comfortable, and the beach is gorgeous from this location. It was extremely walkable to different resorts, a few beach bars and restaurants. I can't speak highly enough about the staff we had onsite as well. Julia, Elena, and Tomas were with us most of the weekend and kept the house spotless, in addition to ensuring all of our valuables were up and away when we left the house from the open outdoor area. Cristina was the home owner and we worked with Aileen from Personal Villas who helps manage the booking. They were both in constant communication for anything we needed (chef, transportation, local recommendations, covid testing services, etc). The entire trip lived up to everything we wanted and more. Our group loved this stay and will definitely be back next time we're in the DR!!

We were a family group of 19. The villa’s suites were spacious and gave each separate family a place to have some alone time if needed. There is a large gathering area next to the pool which is very comfortable and inviting. We had a couple of air conditioning issues and the suites could certainly use more pots, pans and utensils. All in all our family had a great stay and would certainly recommend the property.

Cristina was amazing to work with both pre-arrival and during our stay. The house staff were very accommodating and readily available to our group. I was hesitant on utilizing the chef for our meals, I am so glad that we did! All our meals were wonderfully prepared and plentiful for our group of 13. Wish we could have stayed longer!
