El piso era grande

No había mucha limpieza, pelos por el baño, el ventilador muy sucio con basura de hace mucho tiempo, las barandillas mucho tiempo sin limpiar, el suelo a penas barrido, debajo del sillón había calcetines de anteriores huéspedes….etc tuvimos problemas para acceder al apartamento ya que las llaves no estaban guardadas en la cajetilla del portal. Llamamos al teléfono de la red de sus apartamentos a las 20:30 y nos dijeron que se le olvidaría dejarlas a la chica de la limpieza y que tardarían 10 minutos en traernos la llave. Tras varias llamadas diciéndonos lo mismo y sin ofrecernos ninguna ayuda, llegaron a las 22:30 a darnos las llaves (las cuales además, no eran las de nuestro apartamento). En resumen, estuvimos más de una 2 horas en la calle esperando para entrar a nuestro alojamiento, teniendo que cancelar todos nuestros planes y presentándose muchos problemas por no asegurarse desde un principio de que la llave estaba preparada para nuestra llegada. Entiendo que pueden haber errores pero creo que en este caso deberían darnos una solución y devolvernos al menos el precio que pagamos por esta primera noche, porque perdimos toda la tarde por culpa de esto. Apartment is close to the ocean and close to Las Palmas, a few minutes from bus stop. There was washing machine there, which was plus for us. We stayed one night there.

- Communication. Very fast and efficient communication. During our stay we had some issues with the bath that was addressed and fixed. I would give 10 for communication. - Location (both plus and minus). If you are planning to discover the island on the car, then this is a good place to stay, as you do not need to worry about traffic. Minus - the location is quite remote and there are not much around (neither for a short walk, no supermarkets- what was communicated before, nor any restaurants or caffees.). Thus, there was a small pharmacy.

- Bed. Small (narrow and not too long) and quire uncomforatble. The middle of the bed was sinking in, while the edges were very tough and unmovable. We both were in the height up to 1,75 cm and the lenght of the bed was just right. If you are taller, this could be quite of an issue. Same with the width of the bed - if you are bigger in size, it could be very challenging to share the bed (we both are in the size category of EU S/M). The pillow was too large for the pillowcase, making it too bulky and uncomfortable. - Quality of the premisses. The picutres are quite accurate. Yet, you do not get the overall quality from them- the materials are very cheap; screws here and there were falling out. No ventilation in the rooms and the bathroom. The bedroom window is facing a small in-door patio, amplifying any sounds coming from neighbouring rooms. We heared neighbour's alarm better than ours. I'm giving this place 5 because the current 8 + is misleading to higher expectations than you actually get. The real rating could be around 6-7.

Very spacious apartment with a well-equipped kitchen, comfortable bed and sofa. It was located just at the highway exit, close to the capital city.

Communication entirely on WhatsApp, being of grid the booking. We always keep the apartments we are staying at, in a great shape, but reminding us repeatedly to clean the kitchen and take away a trash when no trash bins are near by, is a bit inappropriate.

I was sent a picture message with the keys in the lockbox and was given the code previously. It was all hassle free!

The TV was great quality but If I was to be picky, I would say that it would've been good to have some British/international channels available. That being said, Netflix, Apple TV etc were on it. I really had to struggle to think of anything even remotely negative.

The bed was not good, it was very unstable and the matress was very worn out

was really good size. actually bigger than on the pictures. felt safe, well explained how to get in and out. washing machine is great.

was dirty, in general. dusty, marks on table, windows dusty, etc. sofa was falling a part different pieces where sliding around. blinds in bedroom wasnt working. was good to see the big oven, bought a pizza for one day to bake it, and than realised no baking tray or anything inside the oven or anywhere in the flat. bed super small, headbard is even bigger too, the bedside table is literally 1 m away from the bed.

The bed. Great TV if you're into watching TV while on vacation (Netflix included)

The location. It's off the beaten track. €40. cab ride from the airport (at 10:00 PM —no traffic!). €10 cab ride into town. Nothing in that hood except a truly humble local-yokel cafe on the corner and a small convenience store across the street. Oh, and a pharmacy. There's a beach real close. Not a swimming beach, however. Also the furnishings: there's a table, ok. Good sofa. Bed. Big screen TV... But that's the end of the good news. There's nowhere to plug in a laptop. Like seriously, NOT ONE outlet. I had to use the kitchen counter and place my laptop between the stove and the microwave. Also, if you like coffee in the morning, better bring your own machine. Something to boil water in, e.g. a kettle, wouldn't break the bank. But no. You'll need to use a pot. How tough would providing a coffee maker or a kettle be…? You know, something stupid-simple like a Melitta filter or stove top certainly wouldn't kill the budget. And that's the thing, the budget is apparently super tight. No real amenities in the place aside from the spartan bed/toilet/table/tv/stove/fridge. That's it. Towels are low quality. Soap bars are a joke. Better bring your own. Also, I was advised late in the game that the water isn't exactly potable. There I was at 9:55pm running with a backpack and suitcase to the other end of the airport to hit the Spar supermarket in order to buy water before they closed (at 10). A "welcome" bottle of water would cost the hosts less than €1. But no. Too hard, apparently. Good luck I say. Never again for me.
