We have stayed at Byke Sunshine Grand in Ooty from 3rd to 5th May 2024. In short, the experience was wonderful. Let's dive into the detailed review: Location: It is in a strategic location and the Market is in 15 mins walking distance. Normally other resorts with good views were far from city, but Byke is in reach. Service: All the stuffs were polite, helpful and friendly. They were always eager to help you in case of any issues. View: The room we took was with balcony. The views from the room and the balcony were amazing. I mean you can just sit and gaze into the nature from your bed. Rooms: The room was spacious with proper setup and 24 hours hot water. Most of the needed equipments like electric kettle, hair dryer were available. Food: We had only breakfast here, so can comment only for the breakfast buffet. It was promt with both south and north indian Veg menus. Some items were good in taste, some (juice, vegetable curry) can be better. Price: The rate of the rooms are in higher side. Now higher and lower is totally varies on one's perception. What i am mentioning is that, if you do statistical comparison of all the ooty hotels, the price here is definitely above middle line and near to the top. But good thing is ... You get the service what you paid for. Overall: If you want to go ooty and relax, and if you have the budget, don't think twice. Byke provides good hospitality.

Rooms: If i have to criticize one point, that would be the cleanliness of the room. Don't get me wrong. The room, wooden floor were actually clean how it supposed to be. BUT the sofa, the balcony chairs, the balcony floors can definitely be cleaner.

Our stay was very pleasant. Staff was very polite. Hygienic rooms. They also have in-house restaurant. There is also a game room where you can play table tennis, chess in your free time. The food was delicious. Since it is highly rated hotel room quickly get booked so make sure to book them a little early.

There's a lot to like about this hotel! The location was good. Up hill and great view over the mountain and small market. We had a room with balcony. Staff is extremely friendly. Food in restaurant is OK. Do note it's a pure veg hotel. Extremely silent at night. It was so good we extended our stay.
