Small, cute apartment. Nicely decorated. Comfortable bed in the single bedroom. The sofa beds allow upto 4 or even 5 people to stay if needed. Small bathroom with a sunken tub.

Well maintained and decorated property, with a lot good standard of equipment.

The sofa beds are awful, they have two metal bars that stick in your back. This place is not suitable for more than two adults. Also not enough bedding and towels for 6.

Unfortunately the property wasn’t very clean stains on the bedroom carpet stains on the couch every handle in the kitchen was sticky the floor was sticky The rubbish bin needed scrubbed the cupboard it was in had tea or coffee spills around it. No toilet paper & to top thing off the under blanket was full of other people’s hair. Yuck

Bedding tricky to find

it was a lovely place to stay on our way up to the Lake District, the pub down the road was lovely.

Huge high ceilings, great location, relaxing ambience

The property was very cold when we arrived and it look a long while to warm up. It would have been great if the heaters could have been set to come on as it seemed they’d not been on for a while and the thermostat was reading 7 degrees!

The property was advertised as accommodation for 6 people, with a double bed and two sofa beds in bedroom and two sofa beds in living room. There were only two sofa beds in the living room, none in bedroom. The host told us this when I messaged to ask for extra bedding so I said we would take air beds and asked if they could leave additional bedding. When we arrived, there was not enough bedding for both sofa beds, let alone additional. No duvet covers at all. In the kitchen, there were only 4 mugs and a selection of glasses - not more than four of any. There were also only two forks and two teaspoons. The sofa beds were also very uncomfortable. Such a shame as it could have been fabulous.

Bathroom was not set out safely.Narrow space between toilet and sunken bath and floor got very wet after shower.
