Can't beat this location! Quick walks to area restaurants, sites, etc. - pretty much any place in the Loop is an easy, pleasant walk. Also super convenient access to the L trains. Great space overall, with a view out to the Lake. Good sized bedrooms, convenient kitchen. Nothing crazy or luxurious, but certainly comfortable and a great value.

The host was very responsive, the view amazing, and the location was walking distance to all the tourist attractions, but the surrounding area felt kind of sketchy at night. Overall we had a pleasant stay.

Enjoyed being able to walk to almost all the main tourist areas. Building and apartment are unique. Very responsive host.

Wonderful. Clean, bright, and with operable windows to let in a breeze. The living room is a nice place to hang out recovering from loop activities (such as a big day at the Art Institute or a river tour...). So much better than a hotel room!!! The water view is minimal but the view of the Harold Washington library is excellent. Excellent kitchen provisioning - everything you might need. The washer/dryer works great. The place is well-stocked. And super-convenient to the El... We'd stay here again when in Chicago, without a doubt! Everything was as expected (and better) and our hosts communicated well and really take care of the place. The building staff in the lobby were very nice and the apartment was remarkably quiet. You're gonna hear sounds of the city - sirens, the trains... We didn't find the El noise to be a problem for sleeping, though I'll say the bedrooms don't get dark at night - the blinds don't keep all the city lights out (about the only thing I'd change).

The apartment was very nice and consistent with the description in the listing. The building has a gym and a nice lounge area upstairs, and some cool architectural touches. The location is a little bit of a mixed bag -- close to Theatre District, Michigan Avenue, Millenium Park. It is noisy (the El runs right next to the building, although a white noise app can drown it out) and while nobody bothered us and we never felt unsafe, a lot of people hang out on the block and you have to navigate around them.

This property is really nice minus some of the political things happening around this location. Staff there were quite friendly and helpful. The property needs some minor repairs but overall this is a great VRBO!!
