House had not been maintained. House not cleaned properly. Pool area had many broken tiles and unsafe holes around the pool. Gutter was hanging off wall which led to flooding of the yard from rain water pouring off roof. Ice maker not working. WiFi extremely weak dropping calls etc. Guest with terrible flea / bug bites . All backed up with photos .

Overall, this was an awesome house in a great location and would definitely recommend it/stay here again. Pros: -house had plenty of room -great location! Short walk, bike ride or Uber to just about anywhere -almost every room had a bathroom attached or close by -4 bikes were available for use -garage parking for 2 was offered (a lot of homes I’ve rented don’t allow parking in the garage) -the pool was a good size -great views -there were giant black out shades in each bedroom and in all common areas -the house had plenty of dishes and serve ware -well stocked with paper towels and trash bags (we brought extra just in case and didn’t even need them) Cons: -we paid a hefty cleaning fee, and when we arrived the floors were still dirty. We were inside without shoes on for 45 minutes upon arrival and every single person had black feet. I wore slippers or socks the remainder of the trip. And there were also long black hairs all over the floors (most of us were blonde so they definitely didn’t belong to us) -some of the upstairs toilets didn’t flush well. The water in the toilets also had a yellow tint (that part could just be the area because a few restaurants had the same issue) -the downstairs bedroom doesn’t have a closet -water pressure in all showers is weak and sometimes it took a few minutes for the water to get warm enough to shower/wash dishes -Wi-Fi was terrible (maybe we didn’t connect to it correctly, but it didnt come up as we were directed)

I always look for cleanliness and 5 star reviews...., it is my number ONE priority!!!...the home appeared clean, but the overall layout was unusual and awkward...a nice guest bedroom on first floor had no closet, and you would have to walk through entry hall to a half bath, and then walk further down entry if you wanted to take a shower....this was useless for my guest, or any other family member!!! Another bedroom upstairs required the guest to come into MY bedroom in order to use the bathroom, which was ridiculous...the master bedroom was large with a lot of WASTED SPACE...TV in master was in the ceiling corner and mounted in back of bed so was totally useless....the huge area for toilet and bidet were completely exposed to double sink area, and the counter space in this huge bathroom was minimal for a master suite this size....the showers were updated cheaply, slippery bases, no place to put any shower items at all, and handle for hot/cold was stiff, unmarked, and hard to use...my guest said she couldn't get any hot water because of this!!...my bedroom featured a well worn dirty rug, no counter space in my bathroom other than a toothbrush, and a wobbly ridiculous closet door that was added as an ''after thought!'' On the main floor, the floor to ceiling dining room mirror was obviously damaged, and partially covered in black protective material,...also, important to know that the beds provided very little support and we all complained that they were WAY TOO SOFT for a one week stay!! Aside from all the negatives, the location was PERFECT, the VIEWS while sitting near pool were incredible, and the accessories included for trips to the beach ( beach chairs, beach towels, toys, umbrellas, cooler and a wonderful cart to haul across the street) were greatly appreciated!!! The garage washer and dryer were in excellent condition and used everyday....we have stayed at many other highly rated Vrbo's in Florida, and this home had the best location and a beautiful pool....just very diasappointed with the lack of details inside the home considering it had 5 star reviews.

We rented this house 10 adult, 5 days, beautiful location. Beach was wonderful, bikes, beach chairs, umbrellas outdoor propane pit were great. However, grill didn't heat evenly, no pool lights for night swims, pool was cold we paid for it to be heated, dressers were hard to open and shut, lost our water service for 1/2 a day, pool was clean except for the rim looked like black mold, some bathroom faucets were loose, live wires exposed in the garage, dryer vent and dishwasher were clogged, poor hot water in downstairs bathroom. Comfortable home for 10 adults and a nice workable kitchen, needs better frying pans.

one bed had a stained bedding cover and the pool was dirty ( have photo) the lock on the sliding door to the pool got stuck a lot and was a struggle

We loved the location and beach access for the house. The house was also helpfully stocked with beach chairs, towels and umbrellas. Lots of good restaurant options nearby. Thank You!

Will never rent if Avant is the Host

Pool was fantastic, can’t beat beach across the street. 5 bedrooms were great for 8 adults and 4 kids. Walk to State park is so convenient. Would love to go back!
