We spent 4 nights at the Steigenberger Golf Resort El Gouna and felt very welcome and safe. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful.
The entire resort complex is beautifully designed and well maintained. The rooms are beautifully furnished and offer everything you need.
We particularly liked the aromatized SPA with the heated pools, the dry saunas and steam saunas and the loungers. To our surprise, this unique SPA was not very busy.
The breakfast buffet was also varied, fresh and delicious. The breakfast room is very large and there is enough space, both inside and on the outside terrace.
We will come again!

The hotel is great and very nice. Hotel area is really good with a lot of beach chairs. The rooms are very comfortable and big. Food was good, breakfast was nice.
Some of the things that we didn’t like:
The reception was under staffed. We always had to wait for a long time just to ask questions. They really need a concierge area. Tuk tuk system to get out of the hotel could take a while some days. Time consuming. No taxi system.
Gym needs improvement for sure.

Things are good with steigenberger, the only matter is that they have 2 bathrooms in their suite only one have shower, i don't know what's the aim of that, providing that its for family which means adults and children!

Excellent hotel excellent staff from Doreen at concierge to yhoseff in resturant and Mohamed the resturant manager all go over and above the pools boys the waiters and alll the staff make the hotel can’t recommend highly enough can’t wait to return later in the year

Cons: Reception staff is not professional enough, calling reception from room is a nightmare, reception is mostly occupied and in a small area,
SPA is very expensive and not professional at all,
Beach bed is muddy, slippery and not good at all
Pool bars serve only beverages, no snacks permitted!!
No night entertainment!!

Loved our stay at el gouna. Food and staff were great. Room was a lovely size. Spa is being renovated so unable to visit this but the surrounding area of el gouna felt very safe!

The hotel was a golf resort, it had beautiful scenery, very relaxing and chilled. Staff was professional , friendly and helpful, one day there was a young lady who played the Sax for 2 hours by the beach; that was amazing

It was very relaxing. I stayed in the balcony of my room most of the time. It was very spacious. I asked for a sunny all day room with some privacy. I was given exactly what I asked for and couldn't be more happier with what I got.

Lovely property, welcoming fast responding staff, big rooms, lovely views, excellent breakfast, good dinner but can be better. Lagoon water was a bit cold though.

The Junior Suite overlooking the lagoon was very spacious, clean, and featured a large terrace. Very relaxing atmosphere for those looking to wind down; no loud overbearing music like at some other resorts. The resort site is beautiful, well-maintained, and is located a short 10-minute walk away from the Gouna "downtown" area which has excellent restaurants.

It is a wonderful hotel. The staff were very helpful friendly. The hotel had lots of fun activities for kids. For Easter they had egg hunting and pizza making for little chefs. There are also lots of activities for adults like water yoga and stretching. At night we listened to wonderful live music. The location of the hotel is great because it is very close to lots of shops, supermarkets and cafes in downtown Gouna.
