Beautiful Resort, wonderful staff and entertainment. I highly recommend this resort.

Everyone was really nice at the property and there were many great tasting food options. I will def be back and stay here again.

Dream royal beach punta cana was amazing!! The staff were just amazing,nice,respectful and welcoming. This resort had many great restaurants food was just amazing at each restaurant food was excellent!! The kids clubs was just amazing I mean my girls wanted to spend every day there. They had so many activities it was just not enough for my girls activities all day long. The baby sisters were the sweetest and caring. The service during the day anywhere in the resort was great!! If I had to travel again to this resort definitely will with out a thought. Very happy with all the employees I meet great people and great personalities felt like I didnt want to leave. The employee below were just amazing!! Thank you all. They all made me feel like I was home with friends and family hope to see them all again. Great service by all. Excelente services, the pool service and restaurant is perfect.

Very lovely hotel and property and dining options but lack of English speaking led to difficulties with ordering drinks and food and any questions we had. Also staff seemed to expect tips for things and it was uncomfortable

Very nice resort. Staff always going out of way to help in any way and always very pleasant. Pools and beach are absolutely beautiful. Rooms are nice and clean. Food is just ok; nothing special.

Not enough directional signs. Food was not up to high standard. Places were to far from each other. Place was hyped up to be something it was not. Nice staff but not the quality it was promoted to be.

Give me the credit they say I have to contact you guys stay I wanna my one day refunds and you guys customer service is weak because I not speak perfect English the guy he pick up the he hung up me 2 time he don wanna listen me

My husband and I had a great time at Dreams Royal Beach. We enjoyed every minute of our trip from the staff to the food and the overall ambience. Dreams Royal treated us like family and we can’t wait to come back!

I was not able to make the trip due to cyber global attack.. and was fully charged for the hotel i never checked into!

Dreams Royal beach was the best resort we have stayed in the Dominican Republic. The staff is what makes it amazing. We’ve stayed at many others and the staff doesn’t compare to dreams

Overall, for the price paid and competitive market, I wasn’t thrilled with Dreams. We stayed in a “preferred” room and it didn’t seem like we had any privilege or priority. The property is nice, the food was good but would’ve been nice to have Dominican food in DR. The housekeeping was mediocre at best and most days we didn’t even get our room cleaned. My son spilled juice on the comforter and when the room was cleaned the sheets and comforter weren’t even changed. The room temperature was as not cool enough despite adjusting the settings to the coolest temp. It’s very loud during all hours. The entertainment department could really use some help. By 10pm the place was dead unless you wanted to go to a disco club. They really could have karaoke or just music playing for ppl to dance, instead they have one nightly show of rock music or alike (which was great!) for 1-2 hours followed by nothing…we’re on vacation- we want more entertainment! The facilities are clean and the pools and beach are nice. Service was pretty good. The hands down best part was the butler specifically we had EMMANUEL and he actually made our vacation! He helped with reservations, special touches for a birthday, informed us of events, etc. He was top notch! Overall, expectations were not met.

We only liked the swimming pools, but service was slow specially in the preferred area on the beach. They had no server at all all day long. There is not much to choose when commes out to food besides noodles, fish, and pizza basically we didn’t see any big meat selection also.

Pros- Great location, walkable to the beach, beach is great, pools and slides are great. Good restaurant choices. Cons- rooms are outdated, 1st floor rooms are hell because of loud guests and hotel employees all day and night walking through the hallways. Hotel lacks genuine service from employees.

I will never book through Expedia again, and will consider other options rather than a Hyatt property. After arriving at the hotel, which was thousands of miles from home in a foreign country, I was informed that Expedia did not book the reservation correctly and it would be an additional $900 if we wanted to stay there. The error was due to Expedia's reservation system not synching up ages properly with the property's booking system. Even though I entered my daughter's age (17) at the time of reservation, I was told that Expedia booked her as an infant and we were not charged for her. I was given the option to pay $900 or cancel. After traveling 12 hours to get there, cancelling was not an option. I contacted Expedia support through their chat function and was told Expedia is not responsible for their system not aligning with a hotel's and that they could not do anything about it. If a hotel uses Expedia as a reservation partner, both parties should be obligated to be accurate. While the property was decent, I cannot recommend a hotel that is so cavalier and unhelpful when their system doesn't align with their booking partners'. As for Expedia, they really bring zero value with just a bunch of added risk. I would avoid both entities.

All the staff was amazing,super nice, polite and courteous, Eliza, Juan,Marcelo,Marinely ,Simona and the drivers were overboard with their personal service, we fell pampered, they treat us like queens.

The property was just as beautiful as I remembered it from being there in 2014. I would Recommend an authentic Dominican restaurant at the resort coming from New York and eating the same food over and over again it’s boring. There was no options for Dominican food in Dominican Republic or closer resort that’s the only thing I would recommend.

Customer service was excellent. But food was terrible. Drinks weren’t great. Plus, a lot of people were getting sick.
