Great hotel for travels! Free laundry machines to use. Only hotel on my trip to have an actual luggage weigher. Would skip the free ramen and breakfast though. Rooms are tiny but the price was good so it made sense. Very clean.

The hotel is next to a MRT station, so it is very convenient to go anywhere around the city. Also, it is across the street from a park, if you like some relaxation in the park.

The staff are very friendly. The room was big enough for one and very comfortable. I enjoy the view of the mom-and-pop breakfast shop across the street from my room. The bathroom was super clean and the water pressure of the shower was very good. I got very impressed that the hotel provided us with some different kinds of Chinese food for breakfast. The only down side is that the lift is a bit slow.

A good city centre hotel with good links to metro and park opposite.

There was no window in the room, which became quite confusing in terms of time and what was happening outside. I felt totally isolated and cut off.

I stayed here for a little over a week when I visited Taipei. Very kind and attentive staff. A large assortment of food available for breakfast. The room I had overlooked Da’an Forest Park, which was a pleasant way to wake up every morning. Room came stocked with water bottles, juice boxes, and a few snacks, and these were restocked each day. I didn’t use the laundry facilities, but they’re available on site. The location is about ideal. The hotel is right on the red MRT (metro) line, a few stops away from Taipei Main Station (and, in the opposite direction, Taipei 101). It’s only a stop or two away from transfers to other MRT lines. The neighborhood is very safe at all times of day (which is true of every part of Taipei I visited, actually). Dandy gives the best of both worlds: it’s right in the middle of a happening metropolis, but also right across the street from a peaceful city park, one of the most beautiful I’ve ever been to in a large city. I walked through the park almost every day, either in the morning or after dark, and there were always people walking or jogging, kids playing, teenagers goofing off — a very family-friendly environment, in other words. I enjoyed my time in Taiwan so much that I’m already considering a return visit. If I do make it back, I will definitely be staying at Dandy’s Da’an Park location again. Thank you!

I stayed with my family for 6 nights. it was a small hotel. The day when I checked in, it so happened that it was being under renovation and the lobby became a bit small and messy. My room is a family room which does not have lake view, which was disappointing. The breakfast was good except that the food was almost the same every day. That said, I enjoyed my stay as the room was clean and comfy. The bath facilities were very good as well and the location is excellent.

When I visited the lobby area was a bit of a mess because of construction going on. I was a little concerned because the lobby felt more like a youth hostel entrance than what I was expecting based on the price. However, the room was excellent, the front staff friendly, helpful and capable in English, and the included breakfast was way beyond my expectations. When at home, I often eat only one meal per day. If staying in this hotel for an extended period, I could easily have done that with the breakfast buffet. It is far nicer than the typical complimentary breakfast from a mid-tier tourist/leisure hotel. The location, two minutes from a great stroll in Daan Park and the nearby Juanquo flower market is great.

Rooms are small but comfy. Unfortunately our visit was on a busy weekend and paid over $500AUD for a very small room. You can hear water running from other rooms, and doors closing. Breakfast was included, mostly Asian cuisine. They had a free laundry room which was a bonus. Overall clean, but overpriced!

Right by Da’an Park and Metro station. Free hot drinks, use of microwave and laundry. Worth extra for rooms with window. Staff sweet and helpful.

My mom and I rebooked a stay here after our first because we loved this place. Very convenient location right next to the MRT, next to a 7-11, and across the street from Da'an park and centrally located to a bunch of restaurants and markets. Hotel staff were super helpful and courteous, they spoke english and mandarin. The hotel also has a free laundry room and complementary water, snacks, and beverages. And umbrellas for borrowing as needed as well. Would recommend and would stay here again.

The staff were great! Every single one. Friendly service, caring, informative. They made me breakfast when I needed an early wake up call to meet a tour group! I would definitely recommend. The only negative was that I think the bathroom had a bit of mold. Apart from that the rest of the hotel was good.

The mattress was a bit soft and bouncy for me. The AC direction was to our heads during sleep.

I returned to Dandy hotel after 5 years and nothing has changed and I mean it in the best possible way. Service was good, room was small but didn't feel old whatsoever, breakfast is pleasing, the free laundry service is so practical. And location is perfect, 2 steps from the metro and just across the park. I will gladly book again.

Good to stay!

The experience is great. My stay here was merely a day but I must say all details from this property are well taken care of. The other trait that’s worth mentioning is the location. Every time you desire to walk out of hotel at night, Daan Park is right around the corner and the fragrance from its glades makes the stroll quite pleasant.
