This was an affordable and comfortable hotel in a very convenient location. The hotel was only a couple minutes walk from the train station, and the station is a short train ride away from Kamakura. If you're looking for a more luxurious stay, this probably isn't what you want. That said, I definitely felt I got my money's worth and would stay here again.

There are many bed bugs and smelled like cigarettes. And one of the females stuff was not so friendly. I hope they can improve the cleanliness. I should have complain there. But I did not.

Ofuna is just a small town with some eateries in town centre. Luckily the hotel is easy to find and close to train station Hotel staff speak little English and have to use a handheld translating appliance to explain if you don't speak Japanese

The level of unpleasant smell is like you are in a room with several people smoking. Once you stepped out of the lift on your floor, you can feel this. And of course, the room was the same. We felt so disappointed.

Great location: quiet but very close to lively area across train station. Cozy with needed amenities.

The hotel was conveniently located. I.e you can see it from the station upper floor, and it was an easy walk with a heavy suitcase. The room was a little small but adequate.

Comfortable stay with everything we needed. Really easy to get to Kamakura and surrounding area and practical for the return train to Narita. This is not the Town for you if you want to be with other tourists however. Very much a place to be with the locals

Rooms are very small but for one night it was okay.

Older business hotel . . . a little dated in some ways. Air conditioning is regulated which made the varying spring weather difficult to deal with.

location is very convenient- less than 5 minutes from ofuna station. Room is similar to most of these types of hotels but a bit tired and is a bit noisy with buzzing sounds and water pipes sounds in the room.

The hotel was fantastic! Very friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast is really nothing to write home about though for 600 yen, you get what you pay for. The location is very central to all the attractions in the surrounding area and as the hotel is super close to the train station it is very easy to get to anywhere. We liked the quiet pass of Ofuna!

We chose this hotel for its proximity to the train station. We wanted to visit Kamakura and Hase for one day and be able to easily access the airport on our last day. Ofuna is on the Narita Express train which goes directly to the international terminal at the airport. This little hotel is much less expensive than staying in Tokyo or Kamakura and was very clean and comfortable.We had read that the rooms were tiny so we booked 2 rooms side by side which was perfect for me and my husband. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and even gave us umbrellas to use for our stay. There is a little cafe attached to the hotel lobby which is very convenient for breakfast or afternoon snack. The train station also has many different food offerings and a nice shopping centre. We were delighted with our stay at Sotetsu Fresca Inn Kamakura-Ofuna.
