Very cool adn cpmfortable boutique hotel in a an excellent downtown location. Amazing rooftoop restaurant and bar with some of teh best views in town and an excellent cusine. I would have given the full marks for service except for teh fact that once again a cleaning lady from housekeeping stormed into teh room catching me in my birthday suit, seems to be a common theam in many hotels.

Great hotel and very cosy with a nice roof top bar/restaurant

This hotel was a great value because it was beautiful and in a great location. My room was huge and luxurious. Breakfast was really good if relatively limited choices. My only complaint was the service. They were pleasant at check-in, but they gave me a room on the 8th floor. When I mentioned that all the reviews said not to get a room on an upper floor because the noise from the rooftop bar, they accommodated me, but identified me as “noise-sensitive”. Bigger problem was that reception said I would not need a reservation for the rooftop bar after 11:00 PM (which admittedly I though was odd for a Saturday night if it was such a local hotspot). So I went to dinner, and when I came back around midnight, I went up to the bar and it was heaving, of course. The hostess was borderline rude, and had me sit at a table outside of the main bar area. After waiting for 10 minutes with no further attention, I went back up to the hostess station and asked if I could order a drink, and she begrudgingly took my order and then delivered the drink a couple minutes later. As I was finishing my cocktail and getting ready to leave, she came up and told me they had a place at the bar for me and when I declined, she seemed a little annoyed with me. Check out was also a little clunky, because even with a deposit on file, which more than covered my charges, they ran another charge on my credit card, which made me a little uneasy and honestly, the explanation was not very clear.

The hotel is very well located, within walking distance to several attractions and has excellent amenities. Highly recommend staying at this hotel!

The hotel was amazingly nice. Spacious comfortable clean room and the breakfast was outstanding. The view from the rooftop bar is also spectacular.

This hotel is probably one of the best in Sofia! Locations is very good, all is within walking distance (then again Sofia is not that big of a city). The rooms are very spacious, the beds incredibly comfortable. Room equipped with coffeemachine and good stuffed mini bar. Bathrooms big and luxurious. Molton Brown products, als for sale. The spa is sufficient, one sauna, one steam room, a big swimming pool and one hot and one cold tub. Massages can be booked at the hotel against European prices. Breakfast is pricy, there is good but not as much choice of food. Personell is kind and helpfull. The hotel has a wonderful smell when you walk in. This hotel also has a rooftop bar, probably the best and bestknown in Sofia. Be sure to book a table as you will sit at the bar if you do not. Tables by the window can only be booked with have a minimum number of guests. Bit of a shame if there are 2 people who have to sit by the bar watching the tables by the window being emty. Hotel rate is expensive but worth your while.

Staff is great and are willing to help. The hotel is located in a perfect location overlooking great sights and close to everything. However, be prepared to hear loud music until midnight since the bar is on the top floor. We were in a suite and could not sleep until they closed the bar. Additionally, the pool is only available for one hour a day for kids under 14. Not a family hotel.

Overall a good experience but there’s poor noise reduction between rooms and corridors. Please note that smoking is allowed in bars and restaurants and there are no tables that are smoke free. The spa is very nice and the staff friendly.

Great modern hotel in the city center

An excellent hotel. Definitely 5 star service. Great room with a balcony in a central location. Food was good and cocktails were excellent in the ground floor restaurant. The rooftop bar had a lovely view, book ahead for a table as it was full most nights in our stay.

The staff were remarkable! Everyone was very professional and ensures you are comfortable. Breakfast upstairs was amazing! Slavra was the best!

Only a short walk from the Metro station (from airport) this hotel is set in a superb location overlooking the cathedral. I had the warmest of welcomes by the bell boy and reception staff (deposit for extras paid on arrival), check in was quick and key card operates the elevator. The hall ways smell of fresh carpet, the room is very modern by design and extremely clean, maintained this way all week by the very friendly and attentive staff. Lots of information about services, great mini bar and seamless WIFI. The Spa Facilities at the hotel are epic, a true escape from the day to day grind with pool, hot tub, cool tub, sauna and steam room. Spa staff are fantastic, treatments are incredible and cost effective. Rooftop bar is also amazing during the evening, for food and working during the day. One of the best hotels I have stayed at and I would recommend to anybody visiting the city.

Hotel room and facilities were fabulous and I would 100% recommend the location, amenities and the spa facilities. The rooftop bar is fabulous but sadly Bulgaria doesn’t have a smoking ban so you are enclosed in a bar and restaurant area with smoke which is not what you expect from a five star experience anywhere else in the world. The breakfast is great and the staff are friendly. The spa was lovely too but I had a bad experience with the facial. I will write to the hotel separately about this but those are honestly the only issues I had. I would definitely stay again and would recommend that friends and family do there were just these two issues both of which I’m sure can be fixed- one when Bulgaria catches up with the rest of Europe on the smoking laws (I have no issue if people want to smoke- completely your choice but I don’t want to come away from a nice restaurant or bar stinking of smoke) and one was personal issues with the spa treatment and I didn’t let either ruin a wonderful stay.

This is one of the best Hotels I have ever stayed in. It is better than most 4 **** in Las Vegas. It is a huge bang for your buck and the staff are supreme! You have a grand view of the Cathedral every morning for breakfast and is centrally located to all the sights especially the Roman ruins and shopping. The restaurant is bar none a top shelf menu! Seemed to be a popular night spot too for patrons and locals.

Amazing location! Since it is affiliated with Marriott I was disappointed in the following: No inside safety chain or bolt NO USB charging or plugs next to the bed. Very difficult to charge. Outrageous laundry cost

I’m a regular at Sense hotel and have come to expect the highest standards from them. This time was no exception, if anything they have got better.

only location and fithness center

A fantastic hotel in an amazing location. It only takes around half an hour to get here from the airport using the Metro and then the short walk from the station. The facilities are very good and the staff are even better. From here the main sights of Sofia are all a short and easy walk to get to.

The Sense is minimalist, impeccably clean and in the middle of town. Absolutely loved my stay. My only comment is coffee with breakfast should be included as part of the package. Other than that 5* all around.

Great business hotel

I had a wonderful, relaxing stay at this hotel. The spa area including the pool was a rewarding bonus after a long day of work.
