A very contemporary property with good amenities and comfortable rooms with well equipped bathrooms. Stylish and well maintained. Located just outside the main Kyoto shopping streets, and nearby metro and bus routes. Buffet breakfast offers excellent Western and Japanese alternatives. Only criticisms are that the rooms don't have desks and the gym is very small.

Dhawa Yura Kyoto is a great place to stay. Nice, professional and friendly staff. Great location with walkable distance to several fun places. Definitely will stay there next time.

We had a wonderful time staying at Dhawa Yura Kyoto. The rooms we clean, modern, comfortable. I really liked the bathroom--well stocked toiletries, a real shower door with rain/handle options with excellent water pressure and consistent heat, and of course the fancy toilet. Centrally located a block away from a major rail subway line. Helpful staff. Nice buffet. Reasonable price. The only critique is the immediate surroundings--not a great view. But I think they more than make up for it. Tips: supermarket 7 min walk if you want groceries. Really great parfait desert across the street 1 block to the right.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was immaculately clean and beautifully appointed with a stylish Japanese modern decor. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the in-room amenities were high-quality. One of the standout features of the hotel was the excellent coffee corner in the lobby. They serve fantastic coffee and a nice selection of snacks - it was the perfect spot to relax with a drink and catch up with friends before heading out for the day. Given the exceptional cleanliness, stylish design, great amenities, and wonderful common spaces, I felt the room rate was an excellent value. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel.

We had ana amzing stay here at this hotel it is posh and chic, that it has its own bamboo forest inside. The customer service was amazing, and the room was very clean and updated. I took pictures of the shower so i can copy for my house. Its walking distance to everywhere specially to the train station.

On the Expedia website most rooms of this property are shown "sleep 4" guests, but the hotel only allows 2 guest per room. We have been told this at the checking and had to buy another room. We could have been to a much better hotel for the total price we had to pay!!!! Terrible experience. Not sure if it's the hotel fault or Expedia.

Such a beautiful hotel! The staff were so friendly and the room was spacious and clean. There’s so much to do nearby and the bed was super comfy I will definitely stay there again !

This was a terrific choice for me and my wife! Beautiful, boutique hotel near the subway station and easily walkable to downtown Kyoto, Pontocho alley and the Gion district. Such a great location!

Fabulous staff. Friendly and very helpful. Room was outstanding.

The room was really comfortable with lots of extras, like nook for tea and coffee and a table with chairs to enjoy your tea. The beds were really comfortable and a welcome change from the Japanese style tatami mats we had been sleeping on. The bathroom was also really nice with an excellent shower. The location is right across the street from the subway which was ultra convenient and there is a great breakfast cafe with vegan and gluten free right across the street.

Our host Tomoro was lovely. Great service with a smile No bathtub but the room was pleasant and good size Best breakfast offerings so far. They have it all Convenient to everything Taxis/Ubers are inexpensive. We chose to stay above ground. Hotel has umbrella for rain. Don’t leave with out one Thanks for a wonderful stay My brother and I will be back😄😁

This hotel was lovely and located in a great location. There are many dinning and shopping options within walking distance and it is very close to a subway station to travel about the city.

Exceeded expectations

Loved our stay at Dhawa Yura. Beautifully designed hotel in a central part of Kyoto. Staff was wonderful.

Our check in process was not to be desired arriving after 12am to be told they don't have housekeeper to put the beds together. The staff that checked dus in didn't put in the effort or were they friendly or considerate that we traveled all day to get there.

This is a fantastic hotel—walking distance from Gion and many other excellent areas in Kyoto. The facility is beautiful. If you are unsure what hotel to book, get this one, and by me, you will not regret it.
