Ok for quick overnight

Hotel was in a great location. I would definitely return.

Front desk staff are very nice. The rooms are modern and clean. Comfy bed. This hotel is in a convenient area with easy parking.

We were informed by the front desk person upon arrival at 5:30pm our room was not ready

Absolute 5 star experience....EXCEPT for the parking! We arrived late at night and were told to go around to the rear of the building. We got sorta trapped in a parking lot not affiliated with Canopy at all! Almost an hour after we arrived, we got into our room. We are comfortable on NYC, SF, Chicago and Boston. To get crossed up in a Charlotte hotel was somewhat frustrating. Otherwise, room, staff and location were great.

The breakfast at this place is amazing, You have to pay but if you get the breakfast vouchers it covers a bit of your meal, but the food is so good it was worth. I can be a stickler for having to pay for things, especially hotel food. But man oh man this breakfast was top notch. Super friendly staff always the most important after a clean hotel room, which is definitely was

For being a newer hotel in the Southpark Area, felt like the cleanliness and quality of the hotel has gone backwards, from when we visited when it first opened. There were areas of the room that you could tell was not vacuumed properly and were scuff marks all over the wall. There was obvious wear and tears in the room that they tried to cover…but made it look worse. However, on the flip side. Location was close to where we needed to be. Not too crowded.

The Canopy Hotel was exquisite in interior design. The amenities provided were excellent. The onsite restaurant - Fine & Fettle had delicious, convenient breakfast options. I appreciated the availability of filtered water in glass jars to fill during my stay. The hotel staff was pleasant and helpful but sometimes difficult to reach in person after peak hours. Without a bell or any indicator to inform the front desk, we were left standing and waiting for service. The parking garage is atrocious! It was a poorly designed and difficult to navigate for a mid sized SUV or larger. If you get to the end of the garage and do not find a suitable space to park, getting out required backing out of the garage fully through 3 sharp sections or doing a 20 point turn to about face the vehicle - and it cost $10 daily to use the facility. Room service came and made the bed daily if my do not disturb sign was not out and brought fresh towels, however, no clean cups were provided for the water or espresso and the espresso pods were only refilled on my refresh before my last night. The property location was close to shopping and restaurants and walkable and in a fantastic area. Overall, the stay was good and I would stay here again.

Good location

We’ve stayed here before and liked it. There is very early am construction next door and it’s loud. They also lost their parking lot privileges in the big garage and we parked in a small attached garage. We would stay again because everything is near and walkable.

Our room was clean and across from the elevator which was loud at times. Front desk staff super nice. Coffee bar staff not very attentive. We just walked away after standing there while 2 employees just ignored us. Area is great! Would stay again but ask for room away from elevator.

I was disappointed with my recent stay, which did not justify the cost. Upon arrival, I encountered several issues including a non-functional air conditioner and television in my room. Despite multiple requests, the hotel staff displayed a lack of concern and it took three attempts before I was relocated to another room. Additionally, the hotel’s location in the midst of a construction zone resulted in incessant noise from early morning until evening, severely disrupting my stay. Parking was another major inconvenience as the hotel’s garage was consistently full, forcing guests to seek alternative parking which is inconveniently reserved for Barclay apartment residents. Although the property hosts one restaurant, options are limited unless you are prepared to drive elsewhere. The customer service was particularly disappointing; staff members often seemed indifferent and unresponsive to greetings or requests for assistance. This lack of hospitality significantly impacted the overall experience.

Overall, this is still a very good hotel in South Park, especially for the price. The staff is friendly, it's well laid out, and it is always very clean. My only complaint is that over time it seems to be in less of a state of good repair. This trip the live TV in our room never worked. But otherwise, it's still very good for the price.

The property does not have a dedicated parking lot so it is a bit inconvenient. But it is free so that helps. Maybe consider a valet option.

Great hotel and room, convenient to mall and good restaurants. A hidden gem in the Queen City

Spent the night there on my way to Florida. It was beautiful and serene. Loved it!

The room was very nice , very clean and the espresso machine was a nice treat. The only issue was the housekeepers were running very far behind and we had to wait to get our room.

First time staying here! Beautiful ambiance and the rooms are beautiful. Great staff and welcoming!

I only booked this hotel because on expedia it promoted that the hotel had EV charging and covered parking. When I got to the location it did not have EV charging and limited to no parking for hotel guest, some guest had to park in the street and NO Parking areas for the night.

The hotel is beautiful and has easily become my go to place to stay in Charlotte. We were worried because there is construction happening near the hotel but it was quiet. The view from the room was nice!

We arrived around 4 pm on a Saturday afternoon, but the room was not available for nearly an hour. Waited in the lobby with two other parties in similar holding pattern. To compensate for putting us out, we were given breakfast vouchers for the attached restaurant, but the service there was soooo slow, we passed on the free meal and went to a nearby restaurant. Altogether, we have stayed here about four times over the last several years, and, each time, something different -- such as a lonely barking dog in adjacent room -- has made our stay less than ideal. Parking, once free, is now $10/night. I think this may have been our last time.

Our room was very clean and the bed was quite comfortable. The staff were also very nice and helpful.
