Was given a room key that was already occupied two times extremely embarrassing when you walk in on another guest third room I was given finally had no one in it, the hotel had a very strong and funny odor, room smelled like stale cigarettes very overwhelming, woke up very conjested..

I generally choose this hotel when I stay in the Springfield area. Breakfast is decent. I appreciate the iced lemon water & fresh cookies in the lobby and the grab & go bag, with a bottle of water, Apple & granola bar when heading out for the day.
My only minor concern is the height of the bed. It's pretty high and getting in/out is a little difficult for a short person.

We had a nice, clean and spacious room. However, it did smell of stale smoke and it needs refurbishment. Apart from that we had a good stay and the breakfast selection was very good. Also, the staff was very nice and there was a nice gym and pool.
If the rooms would be updated we would stay there again.

The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The pool was fun for my grandchildren and they loved the gym too. A nice hearty breakfast was included. However, there were ants. We were moved to another room and there were still ants. I told the receptionist and they were having a service come out to remedy the problem.

The property is located in a area where there are a number of competing hotels. However, the food service/restaurants are limited or are shuttered. There are shopping areas in the area, but also are economically depressed. This detracts from the otherwise very well presentation of the facility.

Bed was super comfortable and the staff was helpful and friendly. I do wish there was someone at the front desk on a regular basis, but it seems everywhere is getting more digital and less people interaction.

One of the cleaner hotels we have stayed in awhile. If they have kids staying there, be prepared to hear feet running up and down the hallways.

My first stay at the Comfort Suites Route 66 was a great experience. From check-in to check-out, the staff was accommodating and helpful. The breakfast options were excellent, including waffles, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, cereals, yogurts, and both apple and orange juice—a great way to start the day!
I stayed in Room 318, which was spacious with a comfortable king-size bed. The pillows were a bit soft for my liking. The room also featured a lounge chair, a large pullout couch, and a substantial computer desk. The fridge and microwave were new, and the AC worked perfectly, which was much appreciated during the summer days. The pool was warm and clean. I would gladly stay here again.

Comfort Suites is a wonderful place to stay. I gave all 5 stars because it was so comfortable. The staff was very personable and I noticed that the rooms had several little extra touches that made me feel cared for. This is a new hotel chain to me and I will keep my eye out for others when I'm traveling and would gladly stay at the Springfield Near Route 66 again when I'm in the area.

The room was very nice, exactly what we requested.
Unfortunately my wife was bitten by a bed bug. A very quick inspection found 3 bed bugs on the two beds.
I went to the front desk and they were VERY good. They apologized and moved us to another room immediately.
Since I wanted to take NO CHANCES, we left all of our clothes at in the room with a note
I realize that the hotel can't control what guests bring into their facility and the staff response was acceptable but it obviously was the low point of our trip.

Everything was top notch. The room was clean and quiet. The staff were friendly and inviting. My kids had a blast in the indoor pool, and extra towels were provided. The complimentary hot breakfast exceeded my expectations with more options than I’ve ever seen from a hotel. The kids are already asking when we can stay here again.
