We always love staying at the Adina Surry Hills when in Sydney.

2BR Room we stayed was generic decor but spacious and comfortable. Location great in middle of busy Crown St. I am a regular stayer and I can’t believe the small TVs are original 10 plus years old plasma without access to any Smart Apps such as Netflix etc. Easy fix to spend $100 on Hubble or Apple TV. Well maintained but needs a little money spent. Still recommend..

The two bedroom apartment we had booked two months in advance was not available, so we were given two one bedroom apartments instead. This was not ideal as a family travelling together. No compensation was offered, and we were only notified the day prior to our booking so we did not have a lot of choice. Getting into the car park was a debacle, and when we arrived at check in time our rooms weren’t ready. The apartments themselves are very nice, but the management seems quite disorganised. We have stayed at many Adina properties over many years and this was the worst experience we have ever had.

Stay was nice, convenient location, Carpark was difficult to find and pricey, staff were great, room was not in best condition and definitely not clean enough but the rooms and features are handy for a stay away from home. Would return.

Good location, handy with family as 2 bedrooms, living room and kitchen. Property is tired and could do with a thorough clean and maintenance. A window blind didn’t work, mould in bathroom, old fittings and cobwebs on windows.

Staff communicated well and were very helpful and friendly.

Great hotel, nice quiet area. Great option for central Sydney, relatively close to CBD

I love this hotel. It has a lot that’s appealing. I stay here for a week every year and have for about 12 years. I love that the rooms have kitchens and washers and dryers. It does however need some updating. The televisions are old and not in HD. They also don’t offer any smart TV access or premium channels. I think this would go a long way to making the stays nicer. The shower is also terrible. Bathroom remodels would make these apartments much much better. I’ll definitely be back but would love to see some modernization!

I’ve stayed here many times over the last few years and my review is always the same. The location is perfect for me. The interior is very clean and it’s great having a fully equipped kitchen but the bathrooms are poor especially the shower. Outdated shower over the bathtub. Awkward to reach the taps and the shower head is old and needs to be replaced. It’s the same situation in every room I’ve had over the years. They fixed the slow lift we encountered last year but the other one broke down while we were there this time. There was quite a significant price increase also and the complimentary bottle of wine didn’t compensate. I’m really hoping that they plan to upgrade in the very near future.

Great location with easy walking distance to St Vincent’s hospital, public transport, dining & grocery options close by. Pool was sparkling clean & apartment very comfortable & clean 😊 Definitely recommend it 👍

I didn’t receive my VIP reward and I’m very disappointed that I was given the run around. The bathroom was mouldy and when asked to have it cleaned, the receptionist said the cleaners are busy til tomorrow. Very poor. Won’t be back! Definitely don’t recommend this hotel.

The adina is our favourite hotel in Sydney.

We spent 15 days at Adina Surry Hills during Christmas and New Year's Eve. The apartment is very outdated. The pictures are heavily photoshopped and incredibly misleading. The furniture, cupboards, doors, and curtains were disgustingly marked and broken, as if no one had washed them for 20 years. Considering how expensive it is, I wouldn't recommend it. The apartment was not clean upon entry. It had a peculiar smell, breadcrumbs on the kitchen counter, hair in the bathroom, an empty handwash soap container, fingerprint marks all over the windows, and sticky surfaces, handles, fridge, etc. The staff was nice, but it wasn't a wow welcoming experience. We found cockroaches in the kitchen from day 1. They performed a "deep clean," but it wasn't very effective as cockroaches were found in the next days, including on the balcony and in the bathroom. We intentionally left the dead cockroach in the living room, and the cleaners didn't even collect it. It was Xmas time and NYE, so we didn't have a lot of options and decided to stay. The location was amazing, and the views from the 4th floor were great, but the balcony and furniture were so outdated and old that it wasn't inviting to spend time there, let alone with the presence of huge cockroaches. The garden area is beautiful, really nice, but the pool was dirty, and the water had a green color, so I didn't bother using it. I am sorry to say, but I wouldn't recommend that place.

Good location close to CBD, Art Gallery, Spacious unit.

Nice place to stay for a family of 4. Amenities are nice and tidy, large pool doesn't have any shade other than early morning and late afternoon. Plenty of places to eat out, as well as woolworths within a short walk. Bus stop is close but the Light rail stop is a bit longer of a walk. Would happily stay there again.

Spacious apartments in trendy Surry Hills, and only a 5-10 min walk away from the Surry Hills light rail stop. There are lots of fantastic bars, pubs and eateries in the area. Our apartment was serviced daily, but some areas weren't as clean as should be - eg, the balcony and balcony furniture and the glass door leading to the balcony. There was also a sock left in the dryer by previous guests and cutlery in the dishwasher. I didn't receive my Gold member benefits (bottle of wine and upgrade) but the staff did distribute bottles of Prosecco and a goodie bag to all of the guests on New Years Eve, which was a nice touch.
