We really enjoyed our stay in the Atrion Hotel. We had a suite on the 6th floor, which was very comfortable and spacious and it had a great balcony. There was a very good breakfast buffet and staff were very helpful. There are lots of restaurants and shops very close to the hotel, just a short walk.

This hotel is welcoming with efficient and helpful staff. It has a convenient, walkable location close to dining and shopping areas. In property dining is convenient and the breakfast has many options including local dishes not often served elsewhere. The housekeeping is efficient and unobtrusive.

Staff was great - courteous and helpful. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Short walking distance to sea, restaurants, shopping, city centre, etc.

We had a fantastic stay of 2 days at this property in July. Special mentioning of the lady sits at the reception during morning to afternoon time. She had been very helpful. She made our stay bit more pleasant with her hospitality.

Really dirty, furniture pretty old and with no organisation or useful. The breakfast is under the plain/normal quality, no flavour, no nothing. Ants everywhere.

Overall the stay should have been excellent. However we were overwhelmed by an influx of hundreds of students sitting oral and written exams for England for Cambridge University. This encompassed all rooms on our floor being used for this purpose. Long tables and chairs and registration staff along with examiners were positioned outside the lift and outside our door with students queuing from early morning throughout the day. It was intrusive and congested and prevented relaxation. In addition during this time the reception foyer was crowded with more students and parents waiting in addition they were overflowing into the street. As we were on the first floor at times it was too noisy to open up and sit in balcony. Apparently this is an annual event hosted by the hotel and can be for 2 weeks. They setup things very early morning and were still going late in the day.

Definition of average. Nothing overly special. Lots of noise and light from the hall as well as outside.

The only downside was available parking. Luckily I decided to turn rental car in before checking in so it wasn't an issue.

Beautiful hotel with a big, comfortable room. No individual temperature control in the room. Great breakfast. Service in the restaurant slow, but friendly. Food was excellent and reasonably priced. Well located.

Everyone at the hotel was very helpful. The hotel location is great, we walked everywhere. The breakfast was excellent, such a nice variety.

The Atrion hotel is modern, well kept, and comfortable. Our room had a large balcony with a table and 2 chairs. The breakfast buffet is ample and tasty. It is very convenient to many neighborhood restaurants, pharmacies, shopping, and an excellent drop-off laundry. We easily walked to the Archaeology Museum and the public bus to Knossos. The immediate surroundings are in poor repair with uneven or non existent sidewalks so that the first block of any walk requires close attention.

Good place to spend a night in Heraklion however it is not easy to find parking or you have to pay for a night at a close parking place, about 4 blocks away.

Location of this hotel is excellent for centre of Heraklion, bus station, ferry terminal, taxis etc. All the sights in the centre within easy walking distance. Hotel staff are very friendly, nothing is any hassle. Breakfast was good, nice selection of fruit, hot food, cakes etc. Room was very clean, it would be nice to have charging sockets on both sides of double bed to charge up devices overnight. Shower was great, hot water in seconds and powerful shower.

The hotel itself was great. Staff prompt and helpful. Breakfast was amazing. Room clean and of good size. The area wasn't their responsability.

Great place for business or pleasure. Town centre only 10 mins walk to ferry and bus station. Easy bus close by for airport. Excellent breakfast with superb selection of home made local items and outside area. Staff very friendly helpful.

Air conditioner didn't work at all. We have to open windows on a balcony and starting 4 am garbage machines creates huge noise, than cats were screaming. Can't sleep at all

Great little hotel with spectacular views!

Excellent accommodations for my 3 night stay in the executive suite. Room was very clean, hot water and strong water pressure. Bed was very comfortable with soft linens, slept very well. Had room service every night. Had food in <30 minutes and it was sooo good. Highly recommend the sea bass and yogurt granola dessert. Easy walk to Archeological museum and souvenir stores and as solo traveler felt very safe. Staff was friendly and helpful. Airline cracked my luggage and broke a wheel when I arrived at airport and front desk offered recommendation of store and directions so I could replace. Loved the outdoor balcony with view of water and even had a rainbow the morning I left. One recommendation is to add anti-slip material in the shower/tub, it was very slippery. Also, hard to lock the sliding door to the balcony but I managed to make it lock with some muscle. Highly recommend both hotel and restaurant. Would stay again if I am ever back in Heraklion.
