This is a good budget hotel. It’s really close to Birmingham New Street Station and to the Alexandra Theatre as well as shops and other venues. The room was what I’d expected - small but clean. The lady on reception was really nice and helpful.

Clean and tidy perfect for one night

It does the job very good location rooms basic but clean. Comfy beds , staff were really friendly and helpful. Wouldnt hesitate to stay again.

Although the location is great, room so small and too rigid/hard bed that caused back pain in 2 nights!

Cheap and cheerful. You get what you pay for. We had a doublele en-suite room with no window. It was rather warm in the room, There was AC, which was noisy so didn’t use. Didn’t report to reception, so my fault. I’d stay here again, regardless of this, as was well priced and convenient to where we were.

The hotel is spotlessly clean which is excellent. If you walk out the side of Grand Central station at the Hill Street exit it is a 4 min walk maximum. The rooms are basic but perfect if you are literally looking for somewhere to sleep. The beds are a small double just about ok for 2 people & the pillows hard. If you just want a place to sleep so you can do some shopping, or go to an event at the Utilia Arena this is ideal. There is a TV on the wall. Toilet & shower we had an accessible room so not sure if others have baths. There was 1 towel for 2 of us but more at reception if you ask. The staff are friendly.

Room was small but we were only there overnight so no issue. Reasonably priced room a few minutes from New St station

Check in was very good and the staff, a young lady, was great. Got us extra pillows quickly and was extremely nice about it. Room was small but it was perfect for what we needed.

Petfect locaton .. cheap and cheerful

It was just a little small and uncomfortable for me. I needed a place to work after my trade show and there was no desk or anywhere to sit except on the bed. The room was clean but very small. The bed was hard as a rock, so I did not get much sleep. Overall the place was in a good location with restaurants and the train station close by. It was just really cramped and uncomfortable to me.

I've stayed here previously. Normally have a peaceful sleepover. But this occasion I didn't sleep very well

Room 203 very basic no drink facilities but these can be found in the reception. We chose this room as was only au overnight stay as visiting Utilitia Arena for the Strongest Man so if stay was longer perhaps a larger room would be booked. Great area pubs easy location for New Street rail station and easy access root to Moor Street station. Staff are excellent and pleasant couldn’t do enough as I am currently using a walking stick due to knee injury

Nice central location, good, polite, staff.

Had all the basics we needed. It is a very tight space to be in so staying for one night is okay but I couldn't do longer than that. Clean and tidy can't complain. Pillows were way too soft so struggled to sleep.

For the centre of Birmingham it was brilliant. As it is right in the centre there are drawbacks - noise at night etc. But you don’t go there for peace and tranquility

Hotel is very central, comfortable and very clean. It says it’s basic but it really lacks nothing. I’d stay again

Brilliant location for station and hipperdrrome theatre, small but clean and comfortable. Staff we helpful and late check out service great for a later start.

The room was extremely small, even though it was an inner room, the music from the pubs were loud, bed very hard, the back of the shower leaked into the room. People on front desk were lovely though.

Ac was broken and could not sleep

The location is great and the front desk were helpful. I parked at the Mailbox which is a very short walk and secure and safe. Public areas were clean and the bed was comfortable but the floor in my room was dirty and the air conditioning wasn't working so it very hot and stuffy. I reported it but was there for one night only.

I didn’t have adapter. The service desk official helped me recharge my phone. (August 3rd at 09:00 am) She was very professional and kind. Thank you!

We will remember this stay for the fire alarm at midnight ask us to evacuate. False alarm but but of a shock. At least it works. Location was good. Room very basic but clean and in good order.
