We stayed here to celebrate our anniversary. Not only we were offered early and late check out, Rydges hotel went the extra mile to surprise us with a bottle of champagne! The hotel is in a good location close to everything. The room is spacious, clean and staff is helpful. Can't really fault it Thank you so much. You made our special day unforgettable.

Staff are friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately the room we stayed in was pretty dated along with an ancient tv. The bathroom is really in need of some attention as the shower screen is basically non existent and allows water to flow all over the bathroom floor and the toilet seat is way too small and doesn’t correctly fit the existing toilet. Overall cleanliness of the bathroom wasn’t great with a used screw up tissue down the toilet and toilet seat left up like it had just been used. Thick dust hanging off mirror, windows don’t open or close but they have a constant breeze along with a breeze that seemed to plow from under the room door.
The lifts are incredibly slow, better to walk but no stairwell in sight apart from ground floor to the 1st floor.
Breakfast was included in our booking but was very average at best, all pastries stale and chewy, all eggs were snotty and undercooked, definately not worth the $30+ you’d have to pay. We had breakfast for 3 mornings hoping for an improvement each time but no such luck.
For the price you pay I think there are better options however if you need access to central station then it’s an ideal location.

Checkout was 11am we had house cleaners opening our door at 10:15 my wife just stepped out of the shower and had to push the door shut on them so they couldn’t see her, then 20minutes later they did the same. Don't they know when guest have booked out of rooms before entring. Very disappointing

Close to Transport(Central Station). And it has one of Sydney's very Good Breakfast Buffet and the Coffee Machine makes one of the Best Long Black Coffee. Excellent Staff, and the Rooms are big. ;( but ask for a City View Room.)

Called the hotel and was quoted over $400 for the night so I said I can get it for half that rate online so that’s what I did on Wotif
When I got to the hotel I was told that the booking wasn’t in their system yet so go and have a seat and wait for it
I was then told she can book me straight in but I’d have to cancel my online booking which I paid $207 for that had a no cancellation policy so she would take my booking directly for $260 and check me in straight away otherwise I would have to wait
I said I can’t cancel my online booking and was told there is nothing she can do about that
I presented my booking confirmation email and after demanding to speak to management she finally decided to check me in
I’ve never been treated like that before by a hotel reception so it’s very disappointing

Lovely, quiet hotel an easy walk to the Sydney Central train station, which is just a few stops away from both the domestic and international airport stops. There are lots of dining options within a 20 minute or so walk, including Chinatown and Darlington Harbour. We had a great time exploring little cafes and restaurants nearby. The hotel has a pool and very friendly staff. The room was clean, comfortable and big. There is a bus stop around the corner where you can catch a bus across the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

Would only get to 40deg so was pointless.
It's only useful from 60 degrees and upwards.
Disappointed in both the sauna and the room size. Was apparently provided a room upgrade but the room didn't feel like an upgrade at all.
Unfortunately will be trying elsewhere based on the price paid.

The room was great and the dining was great and convenient. Only problem was there was a lot of banging in the hall due to the fact we were across from the service area.
