It was fantastic short stay at the lodge. The room is very spacious and quiet

About 10 minute drive out of town, but truly worth it. We had room 15. From the time we walked in everything was wow. Large bathroom with a two person spa. King size bed and it also had a fire place. Out on to the patio and wow again. The views of gardens and the mountains was spectacular. Sitting on the patio with those views and the serenity of the area was awesome. Breakfast was included and was buffet style hot and cold, with those views again.

Fabulous rooms which are to the highest level. This lodge also used to be a fine dining experience. Sadly not any more. The evening meal was average but the buffet breakfast was poor. Such a shame.

Had an excellent stay here a couple years back. Was excited to return, however was quite dissatisfied this time round with the room
The spa pool water was yellow tinged and felt slimy. Getting out I felt filthy and not relaxed, chose this accommodation specifically for the spa pool, so was disappointed that it didn’t appear clean.
The spa bath had black marks/chips across the bottom making it look like it was full of specs of dirt. There was alot of rust on the body wash holder in the shower.
The positive was the buffet breakfast, that was very yummy and good array of options.

Braemar is a very nice place to stay at. We only stayed 1 night but the time we were there we were impressed. The only issue we had was with the restaurant. 1 piece of the meal was very undercooked. Other than that the drinks, dessert and breakfast were good. We would stay there again.

The Lodge was in a beautiful location, rooms were very large and well appointed, the view from our room was fantastic very private, added bonus was waking up to snow. The disappointing thing about our room was not being able to use the spa bath as the water coming out of the pipes was brown.

Braemar Lodge is set on the foothills of Hanmer Springs. It is a luxury Lodge. The meticulously clean and well appointed rooms look out at uninterrupted beautiful scenery. Staff are friendly and helpful. This is our second visit and we look forward to coming back again.

The spa room is good but a little dated since I went last and the level of food is really bad compared to my precovid stay. Don’t get the steak. The breakfast is simple wish the quality was better. For the price you pay there should be good food options onsite. Stayed during a public holiday and there was no offer for food during the day sadly so had to venture into town which has good food. Will stay again for the spa room only very disappointed by the food which they ended up taking off our bill as we were dissatisfied which was a good thing. The staff are very nice and accommodating.

Beautiful rooms, including the comfortable bed, beautiful spa bath and double shower. A great quiet space for a nice getaway. Great that we could access sky and Netflix. We would definitely come again, we lived out stay.

Another great stay at Braemar. Service stood out for me this time. My truck was boxed in and they wereire than obliging and helpful to get my vehicle out for me.

Unfortunately they need to replace bed very saggy middle and gave me a sore back and trip to osteopath. Toilet under rim gross you could see how dirty it was from spa bath and in the mirror. Did love the grand spacious room and own spa pool.

Our room and views were incredible, loved having our own spa onlooking the mountains. However the hospitality of the staff was a little lacking for 5 star accomodation and the restaurant seemed fitting for 10 years ago, but not nearly up to todays standards.

Loved our stay here! Room was beautiful.. buffet breakfast was lovely.. would highly recommend staying here! next time were back in hanmer springs we will definitely stay here again!
