City lion was by far the best experience we’ve ever had in Greece.
The staff was so accommodating even months in advance, and were the friendliest people I’ve ever met.
The apartments themselves were very beautiful, Clean, Modern, and made you feel at home away from home.
They provided us with water, endless towels as needed, A crib for the baby, and were gracious to get the rooms ready for an early check-in.
We are already planning our next trip and will be staying at this specific hotel.

City lion was by far the best experience we’ve ever had in Greece.

2 beds and 2 bath with a large living room with big sofas. Only missing a washing machine. Laundry was mentioned on Expedia but it was actually not there. A few design issues such 2TVs were too close with each other so one remote starts 2 TVs. We arrived at 7AM the hotel gave us access code to the entrance to store our luggage which is nice. No clear instruction on garbage disposal.

Clean and friendly, fantastic quiet air-conditioning, the beds and pillows are unbelievably comfortable and a nespresso machine in your room with extra pods if needed fror free.

Staff is very friendly and very accommodating. We could store our luggage at the beginning and the end of our trip to go enjoy the city. The place was immaculate and renovated. The hotel is near the city center and everything is accessible by foot.

The staff were fantastic! I loved the ease of accessing the building itself, and the room.

The apartment was new, clean and comfortable. We were able to order breakfast, lunch for delivery by a cafe used by City lion which was convenient. It's easy to walk to surrounding areas, shops, restaurants. We arrived at night and there is no parking near the building. Team member Chrissa was very helpful and lovely. She went with me to a car park a few minutes from the building and even went back with me a second time after I realised I had left my phone in the carpark.

Really beautiful, modern apartments and the staff were really great. Plus it had a really helpful app. The closest parking lot isn’t far, but you do have to wind through some cobbled streets, so just be prepared if you have luggage. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely be back!

It was very safe to walk around the area. We parked our car in a garage about a 10 min walk away and had absolutely no issues with parking. We stayed for three nights at this phenomenal hotel as a family of 4. So modern and clean. Spacious and lots of high end amenities from a Nespresso machine to toiletries. Beds are comfortable. Great housekeeping service. Perfect location to pedestrian pathways for shopping and dining in the centre of Heraklion. Wow, this hotel. Our room had a spiral staircase leading up to a 2nd bedroom, a full kitchen, 3 balconies! Excellent location too, just minutes away from Lion Square and a ton of restaurant options. Christos the owner is very nice and helpful.
