Conviently located for St Janes theatre but security totally lacking. Although a dead lock on front door off the street, no key or swipe card provided. Same with smoke door on ground floor so anyone can walk in off the street and have access to rooms. It looked like the door to my room had an attempt at crowbar entry! No checkin staff available. There was a compressor/pump that "kicked in" regularly throughout the night. Very noisy. Drafty room with just a sheet and light duvet on the bed. I slept in my clothes to keep warm.

I would not recommend this property to anyone. Ee

Front desk was closed even though was there an hour before check in closed. Had to call and was given the key via a lock box. Was also told there was an extra $15 per night charge for parking, I said I wasn't paying this as it wasn't mentioned on the website or at any time during booking. Given the price I wasn't expecting much but got even less than that. Just a clean basic room was all I needed. Room was basic but that's it. Run down, dirty, smelly and noisy was what I got. Checked the bed on arrival to find the sheets weren't even clean, there was actual hair in the bed! Called to complain and was given another room, this room was slightly better, at least the sheets appeared clean. Shower was unusable, and probably would have felt like I needed a shower after using it anyway if I could use it. Brown water came out and the hose leaked everywhere. Brown water also came out of the sink tap. Loud music coming from another room until after 1am then some sort of a scuffle broke out in the hallway around 2am meant no sleep all night after 11 hours on the road was not ideal. The entire place smelt strongly of curry. The doors to the rooms looked to have been replaced recently and a part of the door jamb was missing on the hinge side leaving a gap that can be seen through. Had been booked for 2 nights but checked out the first morning and moved to a much better place. Yes this was cheap but expected more even for that money.

The fridge was full of water. Mouse droppings in the cupboards under the sink. I went and bought disposable cutlery so i didnt have to use anything. Parking is a pain in the butt and isnt worth $15 a day, especially when others arent being considerate of how they are parking as it is super tight. The positives were that the heater worked really well and its in a really good location.

Unsafe for families, we had a knock on the door by someone asking for weed. Don’t book here, the reviews are correct. Expedia should disassociate themselves with this place.

Not the best place to stay, i would expect parking to be included in the price, we only used it for one night, would not stay there for a week.

Comfortable clean bed. Good shower. Tv not connected. Office not staffed throughout weekend or Monday morning. No breakfast available as promised. Generaloy very old and tired a d certainly not as advertised
