Comfortable room, friendly staff. Though if youre a light sleeper the area is quite loud with the surrounding bars.

We stayed for one night (Saturday) as we were going to a concert. The hotel is right in the heart of Liverpool with the Carvern Club a stones throw away. Check in was quick and easy. You are sent an email on check in with your room number and code to access your room. The room was large, with a shower and toilet. Towels were provided. The room was very clean and had lots of plug sockets. There was no TV (not required for one night). There are also no tea or coffee making facilites in the room. We would definitely stay again, however due to the location of the hotel, you need to be mindful that this is a busy area and the pubs were still jumping at 4am.

We stayed here for my friends stag. 6 of us in the 6 bed dorm. Perfect for what we needed, and a fraction of the costs compared to a hotel.

Easy check in process, and due to it's central location really easy to get around town. Only issue would be that at night it can get really loud due to nearby pubs/clubs though knowing this ahead of time it was to be expected. Overall if you're looking to stay somewhere on a budget, and somewhere central with great transport links to visit Liverpool. And if you don't mind noise into the early hours of the morning especially on weekends then this place is a good option

Great location. Decor needs a bit of love but staff were very helpful. Very noisy at night with music playing til 1.45am. So 2nd night bought ear plugs. If you want to stay where all the action is in the Cavern Quarter then you can't go wrong. 20% off food and bevs too!

Despite being given the password I couldn’t get connected to the wi fi. The room overlooked the busy “party street” and even going to bed at midnight the noise from the street and pubs continued way into the early hours and so I did not have a good sleep.You get charged for leaving g your bag prior to check out and afterwards if you have to leave it there, £2 each occasion, and the selection for breakfast which I declined is very limited. A 20% discount at the bar for guests was nice but about the only good thing on offer. I was also given a top bunk when a lower one was available so that didn’t add to a good time. The staff were fine. I won’t be staying there again and the reason I did was because I stayed at their hostel in Newcastle which was far better. I was hoping for the same but alas it wasn’t.

Cheap and cheerful and ideally located to explore the city. Room really needs an upgrade as painting is faded, bathroom needs serious upgrade. Friendly staff who were very pleasant and helpful.

Do not stay in the kabanas it is a hostel and not a hotel , no tea making facilities, no mirror , poor furnishings , the noise from the bars was horrendous, rent towels , no tele and it wasn’t cheap to stay, we refused to stay and got other accommodation which was luxury for the same price

Very basic even for the price. Breakfast finished early, despite it being a cafe and no hot drink facilities between 10pm and 7.30 am. Extremely noisy location even for a 'lively' area. Bar opposite plays loud music in the street until 1am mid week and then they started unloading kegs at 6am!

Needs better privacy for people
