Totally not worth the money. The rooms are old, stinks when you walk in. A/C runs 24 hours making a loud noise without cooling the room. No room service the first day, the second day we had call for them to show up.the beds are not comfortable at all. The sheets/ pillows are old and rippedThe coffee machine at the restaurant was broken while we stayed there and they didn’t bother to fix it. The breakfast isn’t worth it either. No quality of food. Too many inconvenient things too list. To be honest I wouldn’t stay here it’s overrated. I would stay a block behind this hotel and pay a fraction of the cost than stay here. This hotel doesn’t deserve 5 star and if you want 5 star go next door( the intercontinental) that’s a real 5 star hotel.

The check in time was too long. There was no microwave in the room, not toilet rolls were provided initially, had to asked. The heating paltes provided were not operative.

I recently stayed at movenpick. I wouldn't say a complete 4*. It truly needs a revamp of the hotel. Everything dated. And we had a room that was not cleand had to change the room. I felt not keen after the stay.

So we stayed her for 3 nights recently and all I can say is that this hotel needs major renovation. The bathroom we got was so old, mold everywhere and you can tell they have done quick fixes just to somehow keep it together. Pictures provided by management are very old. The room had a damp smell. You’d rather stay at a hostel.
The only positives were the location (almost at the doorsteps of the masjid) and breakfast. Staff were nice too!

We had a fantastic stay at the this hotel. It is big and very close to Masjid Nabawi. Thankyou to the receptionist for accomodating our request for early check in and late check out.

I stayed for 5 nights here in Aug’24 (last week). Bathroom is not well maintained. Ceiling was leaking on the day before check out date causing the water to drop into bags. We had to spend lot of effort to dry the clothes. Guest service or reception didn’t care about this issue. I will find a different hotel when I come next time

Overall, the hotel was good but there was an issue during check in with one of the rooms we had a water leak from the ceiling due to AC. Alhamdulillah', they changed the room for us.

Comfortable room. Effficirent front desk representatives. Housekeeping was slow I had to call the front desk everyday at 3:30pm to send housekeeping to make up room. Air conditioning was leaking in the room they were quick to rectify but not solved completely. Walls need to be repainted due to rough usage by previous guests

In movenpick the receptionist was not polite and I was waiting for 2 hours to get the room key wile checking in as only few people handling the crowd. Also i booked room with 3 beds but they given only with 2 bed size room. And when I went again to reception they arranged one child bed instead of adult proper bed. But they charged for 3 bed size room. Also the phone was not working to contact houskeeping or reception. The ironbox was very old and rusted. Ironing pad is in very bad condition. The chairs are in bad condition. Overall very bad hotel. Don't book there. Instead there are lots of hotels behind and they are better and cheap
