Location
Got woken up in the middle of the night with the manager wanting to change the battery in the door lock ….. extremely unusual request in the middle of the night that I refused

The location is great. Right by gas stations, Walmart and fast food.
The hotel is dirty. When I checked in the staff said they had to check and make sure our two rooms were clean. He came back and finished the process so I assumed the rooms were clean. Our second room guests didn’t show up till after 10pm and realized the room was not clean. They had to change rooms so we were no longer next to each other. The whole room was just filthy. The outside door never was locked, so I also had safety concerns. Not worth the price at all. Would not stay here again.

It would be hard to find such a comfortable clean, quiet and conveniently situated lodging at the price I paid. The breakfast was more than adequate. Bathroom was very clean with all the amenities one could ask for and the beds were comfortable and clean. Temperature was perfect for sleeping. Very fortunate to have found this place on line. Would definitely stay again if ever I return to Keokuk!

Good breakfast. They had cereal, oatmeal packets, packages pastries, bananas and the waffle maker. I wish they had peanut butter, real butter and a protein like eggs, breakfast meat, or breakfast sandwiches.

The price and location.
Toilet too low to the floor. Tall lamp& microwave did not work. The plug on the desk Lamp would not fit any plug. Very dark in room.

Our room smelled like it had been lived in by dogs or cats. The smell was very strong. Outside doors were often propped open and in poor repair. Our room door did not close without an extra push.

The beds were very uncomfortable like sleeping on the floor, not much on breakfast, like biscuits and gravy.

The location was perfect and the breakfast selection was good also.
Our microwave in our room did not work, so we had to walk all the way to the lobby to warm our food up.

Easy to find. Breakfast staff friendly.
Extremely buggy and smelled like a sewer in the reception area. Lighting was terrible. Staff did their job but it was a chore and we did not feel at all welcome. Our room had an odor but not the same as the reception area.. The lighting was terrible. Room was not in good repair and could have been cleaner. The beds were uncomfortable. If it had not been so late when we arrived, we would have gone elsewhere.
