Friendly and knowledgeable staff, really liked the 'old town' location, clean comfortable room

furnishings were worn, parking lot too small for amount of vehicles. Overpriced for what we got.

Shocking revelation to read the fairly positive reviews, only to be greeted by sub-par, rusted drains, chipped paint, rug stains, stains on the bedding. There was running water, and a toilet and a mediocre bed, these were the only things “like-able”. The host to checked me in was kind and quick, and that was the only decent part of the entire experience.

The heater was awful, so I turned it off.. and yet it would kick on every 30 minutes and blow cold air. Literally, every, 30 minutes. I got zero sleep because it woke me up 16 times in 8 hours. The pillows are a joke, 2 tiny, thin, square pillows; could have shoved 10 socks into a shirt and had a more comfortable pillow. The sheets smelled like bleach, and yet, they had stains.. the type of stains that would concern most people, so I slept fully clothed.

The bed was comfortable. Room temperature comfortable

Booking .com had payment issues so the frustration was projected to us, and our room was held hostage.. employee complaining to us. Hair in bathtub, a significant amount. Room coffee is horrible. TV didn't work. Front desk never came to reset the fire stick, after we called. Breakfast starts at 7:00 am, so early travelers miss out. I feel that is intentional, as construction workers rent rooms, so they can't get breakfast. Paid $20 extra for dog in a room not pet friendly as advertised.. not staying again.
