The owner is misleading. This is supposed to be a pet friendly place. I first booked a room for 35 euros and informed the owner that we have two small hairless dogs, housetrained and friendly ones. She answered that this room is not suitable for dogs, and I have to book a more expensive one. So I cancelled my order and booked the 40 € room. I sent her another message telling about my dogs again and asked about the breakfast. She answered the same day, but only about the breakfast. It was only several weeks later, on our arrival day, when she sent me a message telling me that because of the dogs we have to take another room, a more expensive one, 55 €. We think that was too much and too late. We decided to go elsewhere. Booking.com asked her to return our payment, but she refused. She sent me an attacking message instead. Be careful with this one!

Definitely great price and the owner was really nice and friendly. It’s more hostel/home vibes than a hotel but we were totally fine with that.

There wasn’t much hot water for the shower and the shower situation in general wasn’t ideal. Also no window in our room

Great host, Rosa. She'll cook and tell you all kinds of interesting stories.

Rosa is the best hostess. We arrived late and she cooked us up the best steak and salad meal. Place is shabby-chic so if you like 5 stars with marble ensuite, this is not for you. If you like basic, quirky and welcoming, give it a try. We would definitely go back.

Close to the volcano and botanical garden

It was dirty, both the bedroom and the bathroom. The bar/restaurant space smelled very bad, like a smoky old bar. There was no fresh air in the room, only one window to the restaurant which smelled worse than the room. The towels and sheets looked dirty. Maybe they were washed but just very old. Also noisy, we could hear someone in the next room snoring and could hear everything in the restaurant. We booked for 2 nights but felt so uncomfortable that we left after one night. If you don’t properly clean the rooms and can’t even provide clean-looking towels and sheets, you should not let people pay to stay there.

We were not shown to our accommodation just pointed to and the key was in the door. there was no facilities a microwave but no cutlery plates or anything to cook. the location was in the car park/ Builders Yard / Car repair area. we were there for 10 days over Christmas and new year and no bedding or towels were renewed the whole time and we were excluded from the celebrations with other guests. on Christmas day we were given a dinner on our in a tiny eating area it the food was appalling and my wifes vegetarian requests were ignored

Shower and toilet are small and and inconvenient.

We really liked the whole atmosphere of the grand house. It felt so cozy and like home. Rosa the owner speaks several languages so communication was easy and she is as well very welcoming and helpful with everything. There is a huge terrace place with barbecue to chill out in peace. All in all we loved it and we even extended our stay for a day.

The rooftop terrace is beautiful.

I got in with the help of a neighbor through a window - as the owner told me later - to her private area. She was there but she didn't come out to help me get in. When I met her inside, she was smoking in the living room. A dog is running around inside freely. The room itself is ok, but it doesn't have a proper wall, but like ventilation plates, which makes you hear everything that's going on in the living room. Also, everybody is hearing everything that you do in your room. This is really uncomfortable when you wake up at 4.30 am because somebody is using the microwave while smoking a cigarette. The situation is the same with the bathroom and toilet. They are ventilated into the living room! No privacy at all. The owner told me and other guests not to talk in the common area because old people were sleeping in the room - that was at 8.30 pm. I had the feeling, it's more about her than it's about the guest.

Very old house gets very hot and has a wierd odour, the rod where the place is lovated at is very dangerous to drive on and get into the parking

Very professional and family feeling service, which would find you best deal. We were about to stay two nights but finally rebooked our tickets and stay over for five nights. Lovely nature in surrounding.

The other had no window to outside but only window to living room and it felt claustrophobic a bit.

Its very authentic place, with wonderful big sun terrace and games room. Rosa was very welcoming, helpful and made us feel at home. Free big private parking.

Very dark room, no windows. When the weather was cold it was very cold inside the house. Also when you taking a shower a water getting cold very quickly like 2-3 min.... I have a long hair and I need to say that it was a problem for me. Sometimes was a bit noise because of the rooms location within the homestead. We ate one time breakfast. Which contained a ham and cheese sandwich a pear and premade in plastic sealed super market croissant and muffin, cost 10E
