The location was awesome, we were right in the heart of the old Venetian quarter of Heraklion. Close to local and intra-city bus stations. Our hosts also provided an online portal through which all aspects of our stay, including communication, was accessed and addressed. Communication was always prompt and helpful, I would stay here again in a heartbeat

More of a suggestion. Providing beach towels as part of the stocked apartment linens would have been a nice and helpful touch as we were backpackers with only small travel towels. Other than that it was perfect!

Great central location. Nice bakery across the street. Liked the outdoor dining facility. Hosts use a fabulous web application for most communications and were very responsive to our questions.

Process for disposal of used toilet paper was primitive.

We liked the location, it cleaness and comfortable bed - perfect for quick sleep while you are travelling during the day. Although the apartment is in the city center, the closed windows isolate noise from the restaurants downstairs. Btw, park the car in the port parking, it is only 3€ per day and 6 min to walk from the apartment:)

this what you cannot choose - neighboards. Half of the time we had very nice them, the other half - were waking up at 6 am and banging, chattering and making noise until 7 am. Then every day at 8 am the church starts to ring the bell, while on Sunday - at 7:30! And ringing every half an hour… It is not the propoerty mistake, it is very nice, but probably we have started to hear everything because of the neighboards.

Amazing location!!!! Very clean and good value! There lovely little balcony where you can sit and eat breakfast too or you can just sit at the cafes right outside the apartment. Even though it is in the heart of Heraklion, you can’t hear much noise as the windows and doors seem soundproof!

Check out is too early (10am), this was the earliest of all our accommodations we had stayed. Mirror rested on the ground and wasn’t hung up so had to keep bending down to use it. Not a big problem but would have been nice to not have to do this when getting ready each day. They also ask you to carry all the bin bags to nearest bins which is a short walk away (not right outside) - not ideal when you’re already having to carry suitcases and bags etc…

The hosts are great, accessible and friendly. The view is amazing from the room. The location is also ideal, with restaurants, supermarkets, the harbor and museum all withing 5 minutes. The city always has music, daytime activity and a night life. Safe too. The internet was fantastic and reliable.

I enjoyed my stay; very convenient location and comfortable apartment. I liked it much and extended my stay. The hosts were very supportive and nice. Very good value for money.

Perfect location in the very center of the old part of the city. It is on short walk distance to the old harbour, the two main squares, the shops and a lot bars and restaurants. The apartment was clean and spacious with nice small balcony and good kitchenware. Very easy self checking in and out and responsive hosts.

There was a renovation in the same building and they started work at 07:50 in the morning, so the waking up was not very pleasant. The bar in the next building is working till midnight (and later the weekend), so the music is very loud even with closed windows, but this was more fun than unpleasant :)

-expected a little more from the photos -we also faced some trouble as while we were there a water pipe broke, could not use water for some time, were then told it was Ok to use, next day the water was again not working (I guess that was just the days we were the but nonetheless negatively influenced the comfort of our stay)

Excellent location right in the heart of Heraklion, the penthouse is well nestled away from noise and is very calm. Come out of the apartments and you are right in the middle where the action is. 15 Mins walk to the port and Bus station. Special thanks to Katerina who is a wonderful host. The penthouse has a nice view of the mountains and the sea and offers wonderful sunrises right from the bed or the balcony. Truly worth the experience. The apartments are well equipped and offers a washing machine-dryer.

Be aware of the stairs it has no elevator. The penthouse apartment is more like a studio suits a couple.

Location couldn't have been better and appartment had everything we needed. Would stay there again

Central location close to many bar restaurants and city life. There was everything needed and a nice view to city centre, I enjoyed and I would not hesitate to come back.

Some thinks maybe should be renewed (shower for instance could be better). The photo in the announcement is a renewed apartment. Not all of them have been renewed yet
