A well kept apartment in an excellent location, ideal for 4 friends to explore a new city but also enjoy time together. The hosts were incredibly helpful, especially in allowing us a late check out, but also provided a wealth of useful local knowledge.Would recommend highly and happily stay there again

Beautufully presented and centrally located flat in York. It was the perfect place to stay for our University reunion. The flat was well appointed, clean and very cosy. Would thoroughly recommend if you're looking for the perfect place to stay in York

What a gorgeous property! The location is ideal for walking right in to the centre of york in minutes. The apartment was very clean and tidy, my son loved the mezzanine area! Kitchen had everything you need and more, coffee machine and pods were a real treat. The owner had fab communication on our arrival day and the instructions to enter the apartment were clear and easy to follow. I would absolutely stay here again. Could not fault it at all! So close to everything in the centre of York. Lots of lovely touches in the apartment. Our host was really easy and quick with communication. Loft stairs are very steep.

Location, coziness, interrior, all perfect. An easy way to enjoy york.

We stayed in this apartment for 6 nights on a family trip with 3 generations. The apartment was very comfortable and close to everywhere we wanted to go. The views were great. Easy walkability. Checking in was a little confusing at first but we followed the directions step by step and it all went well. Communication with Sharon was excellent. She responded to all questions within minutes and was very helpful. The only small problem was the washing machine was broken when we arrived so we had to find a laundromat at one point. Otherwise it was a lovely stay.

You can’t get much cooler than this loft right in the heart of Edinburgh. Our kids loved the upper loft and the views were amazing.

This place was amazing. So much room- our kids got their own space to wind down in, we could sit and chat in the family area. There was a definite back and forth about which child would get the loft because it's so cool. The location was great and we'll never forget the word snickleway now! There's a nice breakfast spot (Cafe Bruk) just down the lane from the exit. York is super walkable and this location puts you right in the center without the noise that can accompany a touristy area. The owners were awesome with communication and let us check out a little bit later as the next renters were coming a bit later- so flexible! The only problem was we did not stay long enough in York! I know where to stay next time- I'll make it a week. Thanks to Sharon!

We wanted something close to shambles and this place was great. There was a loft to get to the top flier and as soon as we walked in and saw the view, we were in love. Lots of places to grab food but make sure you arrange before 8pm as most places close earlier. We parked the car close by at Qpark which was nice. All bedrooms have fans which you need due to the afternoon sun and having 2 bathrooms was good for our group of 5 adults and 1 child. Would recommend to family and friends

Amazing Apartment Super clean Perfect location Washer was broken / not available during our stay. Hand washing and clothes dryer saved the day. Would stay here again without hesitation!

Great amenities, accessible to sights, restaurants, and pubs.

The 2-level apartment was very clean, and in good condition. On arrival, we found a huge number of 'extras' - milk, tea and coffee, cereals, biscuits, sweets - it felt very welcoming. Very close to the sites we wanted to see.

We had a great stay. Owner is very responsive. The place was very comfortable.

On arrival we had a little bit of confusion getting in with locating the lock box, it felt a bit like fork knox with all the security, however in hindsight as a group of girls we were glad of the extra security to make us feel safe. The apartment was beautiful and clean with a wonderful view, there was nothing more we could have asked for, it was like a home away from home, with a few gifts left for our arrival. One small issue was how cold the apartment was with it not having central heating, it took a while to warm up with 2 of us sat directly in front of the fire for most of our first night, however, by the 2nd day it was lovely and warm, perhaps it was due to a dip in temperature outside. York was amazing, we spent the day shopping, the location of the apartment is perfect and walking distance to everything. Parking was a slight issue due to the amazing location, we managed to park 10mins walk away, luckily it wasn't raining with all the luggage we had with us. Overall a wonderful stay and we would come back again :)

Our family of six loved this apartment. It was spacious enough for two parents and four teens but felt cozy and comfortable. The location is amazing--right in the middle of all York has to offer, and easily walkable from the train station. It also has a great view. Sharon was easy to communicate with and graciously had the apartment ready for our check-in a few hours early. Well stocked with all you need to enjoy your stay.

Perfect location, 3 minutes to shopping, Shambles market, Clifford’s Tower, etc. yet tucked away from the main thoroughfares. Flat was very clean and exactly as the photos Quiet building with elevator. Owners were responsive and accommodating. The list of detractors is very short and minor: proximity to parking (offset by central location), no electrical outlets in the bathroom (at least I could not locate any) and stairs to the loft are relatively steep.

We just loved the city of York! This loft was perfect for our family of four. It was central to everything and easily walkable to restaurants and sights. We just loved having the extra space and comfort!

Two couples had a fabulous stay in this fully equiped apartment. So close to everything York has to offer. The communication with Sharon was faultless. We ate in many of the local restaurants and they were all terrific. Coto (Vietnamese) was a standout for food. Don't miss a walking tour with Sarah, (Small Group Walking Tours) bus day trip to the Moors and Whitby (BOB) and the Viking Museum. Definately recommend to our Australian mates to come to this fabulous town and stay at this apartment. Thanks Sharon for uour attention to detail

Apartment was very clean and well stocked. The host was very accommodating and communication was excellent. The location was ideal to see the shambles and the fresh market. Walk to anything you could possibly want.

This was the perfect property for our family trip to York. It was an easy 15-20 minute walk from the station to the property. We had four in our group: two parents and two children aged 8 and 4. This property was clean and very quiet. It's amazing how quiet it gets just a short way down Peter Ln. The streets were incredibly busy and noisy with visitors for the weekend we arrived. However, in the property it was very quiet. Sharon was incredibly hospitable and helpful. We needed to do laundry but the one on the premises was not working. She offered to take our clothes to her home and clean them free of charge. On top of that she welcomed us and gave a nice tour of the property along with excellent suggestions for family friendly activities and restaurants. If we travel to York again, we will most definitely stay here.

Great apartment with amazing view of York rooftops and Minster. Centrally located. Lots of amenities in apartment made it tempting to stay in instead of exploring York.
