Crystal Mountain Chalet
Willkommen in Greenwater und im Crystal Mountain Chalet. Das Greenwater-Gebiet liegt etwa 32 km östlich von Enumclaw im Wald und befindet sich in der Mitte der Gebiete Norse Peak, Clearwater, Mount Rainier, William O Douglas, Tatoosh und Glacier View Wilderness.
Das Crystal Mountain Chalet ist eine schöne Hütte im Chaletstil mit 3 Schlafzimmern und 2 Bädern. Hohe Tannen rahmen die Kabine ein und gewölbte Deckenfenster füllen sie mit Licht. Eingebettet in die Crystal River Ranch in Greenwater bietet das Crystal Mountain Chalet einen großen und offenen Wohnbereich, Sitzgelegenheiten in der Küche im Bar-Stil sowie ausreichend Platz für 9 Personen.
Die CRR-Gemeinde befindet sich etwa 30 km vom Skigebiet Crystal Mountain entfernt. Perfekte Lage für Wochenendausflüge zum Skifahren / Snowboarden im Winter oder einfachen Zugang zu Wandern / Reiten / Mountainbiken und Gondelfahrten im Sommer. Ebenfalls ca. 48 km von Sunrise entfernt, einem beliebten Ausflugsziel im Mount Rainier National Park.
CRR befindet sich in einem Elchschutzgebiet, daher ist es üblich, dass eine lokale Herde von Elchen durch die Gemeinde wandert ... entlang der Straßen, in Höfen oder vielleicht am häufigsten auf dem Rasen des Gemeindezentrums. Es gibt nur eine Handvoll Geschäfte in der Greenwater-Gegend, einschließlich einer Speise- / Tavernenoption, die sich etwa 5 km von der Hütte entfernt befindet. Enumclaw liegt 32 km entfernt. Dort finden Sie große Lebensmittelgeschäfte sowie mehrere Restaurants und Geschäfte.

My family and I stayed here for our Mt. Rainer elopement. The property was super clean when we arrived and had a lot of the basic necessities that you would need. It is also in a great spot in relation to Mt. Rainer.

We had a great stay! Close enough to Gondola and Sunrise entrance. Very well stocked with all of the necessities. Big Hot tub, fire pit and plenty of room for family of 5! Lots of great games for the kiddos.

My family of 6 had an amazing trip at Mt Rainer and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin was conveniently located to the entrance of Mt Rainer and the community offered privacy, trails, access to the river and opportunities to see wildlife. The hosts were amazing as they were quick to respond to questions and arrange an early check-in so that we could grab groceries on the way. Our kids favorite aspect was the large hottub. It was a great cabin for our family!

We were a little disappointed in the house. Most of this is probably related to the cleaning service. Just a general lack of cleaning such as, cob webs around all the lamps, the towels and wash cloths smell soured from probably sitting in the washing machine to long then drying. Deck is covered in needles (which I expect some, it’s a cabin surrounded by trees) but it looks like it’s been ages since being swept. We arrived to notice several holes in the deck(Safety concerns). Expired products in the pantry, old expired eggs in the refrigerator, and the thing that got us the most was the first morning was we started the oven warming to make some biscuits that we had bought and after a bit noticed a strong stench and opened the oven and somebody had left a flank steak in a glass baking dish that was was so rank and molded.
The upstairs balcony rail is VERY dangerous! I would not trust any small kid up there because it is so rotten and about to give way. This is a real safety concern.
I’m also very disappointed that there is no air conditioning and there was no mention of not having A/C in the description of this place. Something like that should most definitely be in the description. It was very warm in the house. Also half of the blinds do not open and close. They do raise though. Looks like the toilets haven’t been cleaned in a month.
Overall the place is very close to Mount Rainier and handy.
But I was expecting more isolation due to the pictures provided in Vrbo.

The cabin was very nice and had everything we needed. Although we never used the hottub, we planned on it. It was a wonderful thought and I'm sure we would have loved it! :) I think what I enjoyed most was watching the elk walk through our yard and with the big picture windows, it was an easy view.

We had a great stay at this property! It was in a perfect location for our friend's wedding at Crystal Mountain Resort. Mark and Michaela were incredibly helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

Overall wonderful stay! Upon our arrival we were met with grazing wildlife in the cabin community. It was the perfect serene location to do wedding photos, and host a very small ceremony. The cabin was perfect size, and i will definitely be back for the next snowy season, to sit by the large windows and watch the wildlife while the adventurers go skiing. This cabin has it all, including a Nintendo 64, with zelda, and every board game under the sun! I personally dont have kids, but this is thw cabin for sure if you do, they have everything for little ones, from a crib, to toys for at the community park just a short walk away! Thank you soooooo much! We will be back!

Had a great short weekend stay. We didn't use all the amenities, but would have if we were there longer. Great place for 2 families if needed. Short drive to the mountain, and super short drive to Greenwater for a beer and ice cream. The hosts were super communicative and had lots of details about the house and nearby. The cabin was a perfect place to have our family gather and make gingerbread houses. The kitchen was fully stocked with things that we needed to prepare for this. We just brought our gingerbread houses and all the fixings.

This was a wonderful escape from the heat in Nevada. It was a great time with the grandkids hiking in the woods, trips into the park and seeing wildlife. Hosts were remarkable provided accurate descriptions of the property. You could tell it was their home and we treated it as such.

The cabin had everything we needed for a very enjoyable weekend stay. Hot tub was very nice. Owners very easy to work with and responsive. We did see lots of moose! Skied Crystal Mountain Sat-Sun. Weather was wonderful - plenty of sunshine both days! But I think we got lucky.

The house is super comfy, cozy and clean. We loved the recliners after a day of skiing - just perfect! So many board games - everyone was entertained. Thank you for letting us bring our friend, black labrador Frodo, it's a first house ever we did not pay dog fee. The kitchen and pantry are stocked with the same products we use at home - totally felt like home for us! It was just a perfect stay, very-very recommended!

We loved staying at this home! My husband and I slept amazingly well in the upstairs beds and were so happy to have such a comfortable space to return to after our days of skiing. The kitchen was well appointed with everything we needed to make dinner each night. The hot tub was awesome for relaxing after being out on the mountain. If you're skiing at Crystal, this location is ideal. We also loved seeing elk all around the neighborhood. We'd love to come back one day. Thank you, Michaela and Mark!

We loved staying here! The hosts were great and very responsive. Honestly I have not been to a vacation house that is so well outfitted for young children. There were stools in every bathroom and we had everything we needed for a great time with the kiddos. Would definitely go back!
