Staff were all friendly and polite and breakfast and service were excellent Location was perfect as I was there for the rugby at Murrayfield stadium. Room was situated at rear of hotel so away from any road noise. bed was really comfortable and I had a great nights sleep.

Could have done with a chair in my room. The TV reception was a bit glitchy but sufferable.

Location was fantastic, couldn't have got anywhere better The man on check in was very friendly and helpful. Contacting hotel was very easy. I would return for another night!

The bed I didn't find very comfortable, not sure what it was. Check out is 10am, meaning breakfast was very busy between 9-10 so checking out was slightly longer than normal. Check out at 11 I think would be better suited.

The people who work here are so nice and friendly! They created a very welcoming atmosphere and were talking to us about our stay and our plans for New Year’s Eve in Edinburgh. They helped us to figure out the buses into the centre and just had an overall lovely demeanour! The included fry breakfast was also great and set us up nicely for the rest of the day! I would stay here again and recommend to anyone for an affordable stay, especially on peak holidays like NYE.

There was nothing we didn’t like!

The breakfast was ok. There was a choice of cooked items, cereals, fruit, pastries and juice.

The room was cold. The bathrooms need maintenance.; taps weren’t working and skirting etc was in a bad state making it seem unhygienic.

What a great location if you're going to Murrayfield. A 10 minute walk. Fantastic. The breakfast was great, a buffet for cereal and juice, and pick your cooked items. Quick service and tasted lovely. Thanks everyone

Nothing really, if I'm being overly critical, the heating was on at full when we arrived. Turned it down straight away. That's my only dislike

Location : Upon arrival went by taxi but once we knew where we where it was very easy to go to & from the hotel by bus to the centre. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was very good. Room very clean, small, but adequate for our needs

Family owned and operated. A clean place with some decorations that seemed dated/nostalgic. Off street parking. Good Wifi. Cooked breakfasts. Attentive morning staff making breakfast.

Bathrooms were subpar. We couldn't get hot water to work in one shower while the other shower head fell apart and sprayed all over. We couldn't find any staff to ask or tell about issues. The shower head was repaired when we notified the owner the next morning. No mirror in one bathroom makes shaving etc. a challenge. Faucets that needed to be turned 6 times around to get any water. An extra pillow would be nice.

Breakfast is very unappetizing without many options. Entire hotel is very dingy - peeling paint, dirty corners, chipped taps, etc. The shower had no power, and taps had buildup. Furniture is mismatched and there is no thought to convenience, e.g. in a double room there is only a bedside table on one side. Towels were frayed. Absolutely a case of trying to make as much money as possible, as cheaply as possible. No money has been spent to upkeep that hotel in decades. Very disappointing stay and description pretty misleading.

Everything was great. Amazing lady on reception really helpful.
