Very comfortable and clean. In a beautiful neighbourhood that we didn't know.

We had no internet at all in the room. The wifi did not work. Even though the room was beautiful and comfortable, there were no windows.

The location was suitable for what we needed

No wifi reception in the room. No laundry facilities as advertised. Overwhelming smell of disinfectant. No gas for the oven.

breakfast was plentifull and varied, the yoghurt and peach provided was a pleasant surprise and I really liked the bread.Strawberry jam had real strawberries and there was plenty of it. The bathroom air disipator lasted for a sensibly long period of time. The curtain separating the kitchen was well placed. Finally I was v. gratefull that my hosts put my passports and some money to one side for me, very gratefull.Also Bryan privided some very important maps, without which I would have had great difficulty in carrying out the main purpose of my trip.

Location for us wasn't a problem as we had a car, but may be out of the way for others looking to be closer to Auckland

Host upgraded our room at no cost given other room was vacant.

Cleanliness was lacking - Cockroach in drawer next to bed, carpet dirty, clutter around property. Wifi was spotty at best but didn’t work most of the time. Breakfast was disappointing. Instant coffee, bread slices, and a tiny cup of yogurt and fruit left in the refrigerator. We stayed at 10 different places during our travel through New Zealand and unfortunately this is the only one we can’t recommend.

Hostess individualized our breakfast with providing both soy milk, skim milk, rye bread, oj for us as well as yogurt as we asked for. Very kind & beneficial for both our diets & desires. Definitely enjoyed this! Thank you!

Location site closer to downtown Auckland but very quiet & comfortable with many extras, such as kitchen pans, spices, to allow us to make our own individual meals and sleep well. Thank you!

Great spot to stay for a couple of nights! Breakfast was provided by the host - they left peaches, yogurt and juice in the fridge and a selection of fresh muffins, crossaints and toast. Gorgeous garden wrapping around the property!!

The rooms were a lovely set up but strong disaffected smell when entering the room noticed window sills not wiped down and cobwebs in the windows.The bathroom had cracks along the ceiling Unfortunately we had to cut our stay short as one of my children got gastro could not get a refund as we booked through Booking.com For the price a little expensive for a solo mum and I guess sometimes I feel you should get a home cooked breakfast not just the standard cereal and toast and yogurt which we usually eat.

The check-in was very uncomplicated and everything was explained to us in detail. The hostess was very nice and accommodating. The room is very large and clean. Also at check-out we were helped with the suitcases and our garbage (we had a lot of garbage because it was our last day in New Zealand) was taken over and disposed of by the host. In general, I can only recommend this BnB.
