Liked the location. Very close to the Haymarket station for getting to the old town area. Sitting area was big and comfortable. Clothes washer was a nice surprise. Management gave clear and consise instructions for checking in and out and was responsive to my questions.
The unit is a bit dated and had sparse amenities like towels, soap for the shower, shampo, and conditioner. One shower head would go from cold to hot to cold water on its own. The beds were a bit too soft for our liking and looked dated. There was no dishwasher, which wasn't a deal breaker for us, but might be for some.

Check in and out was great. The friendly manager made it easy, and the location was fabulous. It was quiet and comfortable.
One of the mattresses had been flipped to coils up, rather than the mattress topper, but we fixed that.

The location was excellent with many restaurants and shops close by. Parking was excellent. Kitchen and livingroom were good.
The pictures were deceiving. We were in unit 4 and the bedrooms were so tiny, there was about 1cm gap between the open door and the bed... so difficult to get in and out of the rooms. And what made it more frustrating was that all the doors close automatically, making it even more difficult to get back out! All the nicer pictures shown in the posting do not exist in this unit. It is very misleading and I felt badly that I booked it for our group as it was not up to our standards. The floors felt quite dirty.

Clean apartment despite the previous occupiers having clearly smoked in the bathroom and therefore breaking house rules.
Location fantastic with good amenities nearby and transport links into the city.
Apartment was secure, well equipped and clean.
Host was great at communicating and was extremely apologetic regarding smoking smell.
Some of the furniture could do with updating.

Spacious, clean apartment. Well equipped kitchen. Parking on site was easy. Nice cafes and bars close by.
When checking out we were asked if anything could be improved, we discussed providing more toilet paper (we were a group of 6 and given 2 rolls, 1 in each bathroom, for 2 nights) staff then told us it was self catering apartment and most people would bring their own.

We loved the off street parking and the range of shops and restaurants nearby.
There was a little mould on the grouting in the ensuite bathroom and on the ceiling. There were no hooks in either bathroom to hang clothing. The main bathroom did not have enough towel rails. The furnishings were adequate but not what we remembered seeing on booking.com advertisements. The location was a much longer walk into Edinburgh city centre than advertised.

Bed configuration in rooms, en suite had twin beds, beds 12” off the ground, mattress, pillows and towels have seen better days.
All furniture very low to the ground - not easy for someone with mobility issues.

Collected keys from the office a 10 second walk away. Manager was very pleasant and helpful. Location is great. Loads of lovely bars, shops and restaurants nearby and the tram a 3 minute walk away. The apartment is very spacious, great heating and lashings of hot water. All the rooms are exceptionally clean. The lift to the apartment was a great bonus. Parking spaces are provided. Level of furnishings are high throughout and comfortable. The area is quiet and all of us slept well. The weather was bright and sunny and made our holiday in Scotland just perfect. My family and I will be returning to Haymarket apartments again. Thank you!

Very clean, lots of amenities nearby, short walk to city centre, free parking, helpful staff, spacious bright flat, free WiFi, clean bedding, good showers, well equipped for cooking/cleaning. Quiet location
Beds weren't comfortable, particularly the two single beds which had very saggy mattresses, very little loo roll and missing a few kitchen items (chopping board)

Great location. Apartment well equipped, spacious, and generally clean. Car parking a real bonus in the city.
They made it easy to pick up the keys and parking passes. Staff very pleasant and cooperative despite our travel plans in chaos due rail strikes and family illness. A good experience all round despite our personal complications! Good value for a city apartment for 8.
Black mould in family bathroom and shower. Heating was variable and didn' t find instructions.

Great apartment for a great price. This apartment fit 4 adults and 4 kids comfortably, great location right next to haymarket train station and tram stop. Would definitely stay again.

I like that the apartment was spacious and the area quiet.
The beds were comfortable and we had car park available which was great.
Also, we had many shops, cafeterias around.
I felt like a student. The usetensils and the rooms were mostly clean, but the walls were incredibly stained and dirty. The apartment didn't look much like the pictures.
In our bathroom the small towel was having yellow stains, which I found quite appalling.
Also, in the shower you could see lines of black mould.
The apartment needs a refresh for sure.
In addition, I was told it is a fully equipped kitchen, no salt/ pepper and also the stove and oven were on gas.
We are not smokers (my husband and I for around two years). However, we were lucky to find a lighter in the car so we can use the stove.

Perfect choice for big group. Spacious and comfortable. Car park was spacious and good for big van.
Not enough toiletries for 8 pax for 2 nights. Only 1 toilet roll and a tiny bottle of shower gel and shampoo Shower mixer either too hot or too cold.
